Main Job Purpose:Manufacturing Manager has overall responsibility for a unit within a factory. The MM leads all deliverables of the unit on SHE, Quality, Cost, Service & ER end to end and is a key member of the factory leadership team reporting to the factory manager.
Key Accountabilities:
+ To achieve SU KPIs in unit
+ To achieve customer service targets in unit
+ To achieve safety standards in unit
+ To achieve quality standards in unit
+ To provide visible leadership for Factories in unit
+ To manage employee relations to ensure high engagement levels in unit
+ To implement agreed SU indirect structures in unit
+ Manage the operations (manufacturing, quality and manufacturing excellence) of the factory - including the operation of Raw material handling and Packing plant.
+ Manage and respond on factory service levels, efficiencies, quality compliance, OSHE compliance and cost compliance.
+ Lead Factory productivity improvement through programs like R2S, SMED, UMS etc.
+ Lead material savings project through continuous yield improvement initiatives.
+ Lead Factory League performance of the site.
+ Lead quality management system including UQPs, HH pillar, FSSAI compliance, HACCP compliance etc.
+ Drive digitalization for manufacturing and quality fields.
+ Implement HR policies and procedures as applicable to the area of work.
+ Support implementation of innovation within the factory and deliver to agreed ramp up plan.
+ Manage and improve deployment of resources, people budgets and assets, to comply with cost and financial target.
Experience Required:
ESSENTIAL
+ 5-8 years of experience in production/managing people
+ FMCG experience
