Job Role:

We are looking for a Documentation/Operations Executive to join our team in Mumbai. The selected candidate will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operational and documentation processes involved in crew management and recruitment.


Responsibilities

•⁠ ⁠ertification control and compliance tracking

•⁠  ordinating crew movement and logistics

•⁠  naging visas and travel arrangements

•⁠  eparing and verifying pre-joining documentation

•⁠  aising with Principals, Masters, and Shipping Agents

•⁠  pporting both short-term and long-term crew planning activities


Qualifications

•⁠  chelor’s degree or higher

•⁠ ⁠M mum 1 year of experience in documentation or operations in the maritime recruitment sector

•⁠  rong communication and interpersonal skills

•⁠  oficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

•⁠  gh attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure

•⁠  miliarity with DG Shipping regulations is a strong plus

We're looking for an organized individual with attention to detail, who will be instrumental in ensuring that we find both cost-effective and relevant shipping solutions that enable us to deliver orders to our clients within timelines. In working through logistics-related tickets, you will be extensively coordinating with cross-functional teams and also with outside vendors like UPS, FedEx, and USPS to name a few.

**Responsibilities**
- Creating shipping labels for all our orders to be shipped to our customers
- Generating labels and customs forms required for international shipments
- Comparing quotes from private couriers and UPS. Critical to recommend cost-effective options when shipping rush orders
- Coordinating with suppliers to return unused blanks from our orders
- Checking on timelines with Campus Managers whenever required
- Interacting with our printers and fulfillment center to ensure on-time shipping
- Calling UPS/USPS/FedEx to solve shipping issues
- Ensuring order deadlines are not missed
- Responding to queries from printers about shipping.

**In addition to your day to day activities, you will also have the opportunity to**:

- Find and suggest less expensive shipping solutions for the company
- Run analysis of shipping data to give us insight on how to improve our processes

**Essential Requirements**
- 1-2 years of experience in Logistics or Shipping operations
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, particularly in cleaning up data.
