About the Role:
This role is responsible for driving actions & generating Consumers and Market Insights for India Region. This is an important Region for Ferrero and is the center for tropical innovations for the company. The portfolio encompasses several categories within Sweet Packaged Foods making this an exciting and challenging opportunity. Main Responsibilities:
- Be the voice of the consumer within the organization continuously driving consumer and customer understanding
- Lead end-to-end research funnel for the biggest contributing brand portfolio of the company. This includes partnering new innovations and succeeding with the current portfolio
- Continuously provide a solid understanding of structural category drivers, drainers, triggers, and barriers to help build a strong business
- Bring outside-in inspiration into the business. Continuously monitor competition, leverage social listening, and develop strong understanding of competition strategies across all elements of marketing mix
- Deliver insights on macroeconomic, market, channel, consumer trends and nurture business intelligence
- Co-build brand positioning and help bring them to life together with marketing teams

Who we are looking for:
- Approximately 8-10 years of experience in a major FMCG company in the insights function or in a reputed research agency
- Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university; MBA in Marketing/Research
- Should have experience of using different consumer and shopper key research methodologies, Brand tracking, Nielsen Retail Audit tool; knowledge on e-comm and digital led growth and transformation will be preferrable
- Strong communication, presentation and strategic influencing skill. Ability to manage conflicts and influence business decisions backed by insights
- Strong managerial, leadership and people management skills
- Good at integrating multiple sources and telling a story

The Research Operations Manager, Customer & Market insights is the essential backbone of the team, enabling and enhancing team performance through efficiency, training and innovation while supporting the team in the journey of democratizing insight to drive a market orientation across Cytiva. The role is focused on customer research but will also encompass competitive intelligence and other insight areas as relevant. What you will do:
+ Ways of Working: Identifying and delivering a program of initiatives to improve team ways of working including opportunities for standardization, the creation of templates, the introduction of new team and business processes and tools including for example AI/ML or other novel approaches.
+ Communications Lead: Create and ensure delivery of a Cytiva business knowledge sharing calendar as well as the Customer & Market Insights team meeting and events calendar, coordinating with the Senior Managers to identify and deliver appropriate content.
+ Training Lead: Create and ensure delivery of a functional (e.g. research techniques and methodologies) and business understanding training and development curriculum based on team audits and consultation with Senior Managers.
+ Tools Management: Overseeing the tools and platforms that are central to efficient team operation, including analytical tools (e.g. Q) and dashboards, project planning tools and the knowledge management platform.

Who you are:

Key Responsibilities:
1. Problem Solving from a Consumer Lens
- Constantly monitoring user journey, Identify key consumer pain points and opportunities through research and analytics.
- Develop actionable insights that influence product development, marketing strategies, and customer experience improvements.

2. Capability Building

3. Data & Analytics
- Design and execute surveys, focus groups, and in-depth interviews to capture direct consumer feedback.
- User cohorting through intense data analysis exercise. Listening to call recordings / Calling customers to ensure activity is done for the right cohort.
- Leverage first-party data, social listening, and competitive intelligence to identify behavioral patterns and emerging trends.
- Synthesize data from multiple sources (NPS, customer reviews, purchase behavior, CRM) to generate holistic insights.
4. New Initiatives & Ad Hoc Projects
- Lead exploratory research projects to uncover unmet consumer needs and whitespace opportunities.
- Partner with leadership to test and validate new product concepts, marketing campaigns, and brand positioning strategies. Working closely with all consumer facing teams, particularly acquisition and retention
- Support ad hoc strategic initiatives requiring rapid insights and business recommendations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 4-6 years of experience in consumer insights, market research, or analytics, preferably in a D2C, FMCG, or e-commerce environment.
- B.Tech/similar bachelor's degree. MBA is a plus
- Strong understanding of research methodologies, including surveys, focus groups, ethnographic studies, and behavioral analytics.
- Proficiency in data visualization and analytics tools (Excel, Google Analytics, Power BI, SQL, or similar).
- Ability to translate complex data into compelling narratives and strategic recommendations.
- Experience running independent consumer research projects including but not limited to U&A, Concept, Product, Pack design, Ad, & Lapsers
