The Role

The Director, Brand Management is responsible for the growth, long term relationship and smooth operation of one or more of our clients’ consumer products programs.     A rapidly growing Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Brand Management to lead brand development and marketing strategies from their headquarters in Pune, Maharashtra, IN . This senior leadership position is responsible for shaping the vision, strategy, and execution of brand marketing plans to drive market share and consumer engagement for a portfolio of iconic brands. You will oversee all aspects of brand management, including market research, consumer insights, product positioning, advertising, promotions, and digital marketing. The Head of Brand Management will lead a team of brand managers and marketing professionals, providing guidance and fostering a culture of innovation and performance. Key responsibilities include developing annual marketing plans and budgets, monitoring brand performance, and identifying opportunities for growth and expansion. You will work closely with product development, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the FMCG market, consumer behavior, and contemporary marketing techniques. A proven track record of successfully launching and growing brands, managing significant marketing budgets, and driving measurable business results is essential. We require a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in brand management within the FMCG sector, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. An MBA or equivalent degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is required. Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical skills, leadership abilities, and communication skills are a must.
