TE Connectivity's Materials Planning Teams are responsible for the plans, schedules, and monitoring of the movement of material through the production cycle. **Roles & Responsibilities**
+ Manage the Purchase Order (PO) fulfilment cycle, from purchase requisition through Goods Receipt in the Regional Distribution Centers.
+ Work with suppliers and Global Logistics teams to address incidents or exceptions.
+ Troubleshoot, expedite and de-expedite product availability and work with cross-functional teams to meet delivery and inventory KPIs, improving customer service and experience, while optimizing logistics cost, inventory and obsolescence
+ Execute and coordinate production priority and supply allocation with Master Production Scheduling, Sales and Product Management under capacity and resource constraint.
+ Respond to unexpected event in the supply chain, report and escalate those risks to the Supply Chain Manager. Drive preventive measures after corrective measures.
+ Track and improve ship to request, ship to schedule, Inventory, freight and past-due performance.
+ Clarify short lead time and abnormal demand with Demand Management, Product Manager, Sales and Customer Service Team.
+ Perform root cause analysis, identify actions and improve delivery performance KPIs.
+ Execute Make-To-Order, Make-to-Forecast and Make-To-Stock strategies.
+ Coordinate global stock rebalancing activities.
+ Review healthy stock levels, conduct root cause analysis and back to normal actions.

    About the Role

    We are seeking an experienced Senior PPC & Logistic Engineer with 10+ years of expertise in electronics manufacturing. The role involves leading production planning and control activities, ensuring effective resource utilization, optimizing logistics, and enabling timely customer deliveries while driving operational efficiency and supporting business growth.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement strategic production plans to meet customer delivery commitments.
    • Lead and mentor the PPC team, ensuring effective scheduling and resource allocation.
    • Drive capacity planning and optimization of machines, manpower, and materials.
    • Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, ensuring smooth workflow across all stages.
    • Maintain optimum inventory levels of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
    • Collaborate with procurement, design, quality, and operations to achieve delivery and quality targets.
    • Ensure cost control and reduction initiatives without compromising output quality.
    • Prepare and monitor KPIs related to productivity, inventory turns, and on-time delivery.
    • Support plant capacity expansion and future production requirements.
    • Ensure compliance with quality standards, EHS guidelines, and industry best practices.
    • Coordinate with logistics partners for on-time inbound and outbound material movement.
    • Oversee dispatch planning, warehousing, and transportation to meet customer delivery schedules.
    • Implement cost-efficient logistics solutions while ensuring regulatory and documentation compliance.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering (mandatory).
    • Minimum 10 years of experience in Production Planning & Control, with strong exposure to electronics manufacturing/EMS industry.
    • Proven expertise in ERP/MRP systems, capacity planning, and inventory management.
    • Strong background in electronic component sourcing, BOM planning, and material scheduling.
    • Experience in logistics operations (dispatch, warehousing, transportation) preferred.
    • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

    Job Purpose:

    To ensure the on-time availability of finished goods by effectively planning resources and capacities, while optimizing inventory levels.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Maintain effective and proactive communication with the Sales team regarding pending order status.

    Coordinate closely with Sales, Production, Quality Control, Stores & Dispatch teams for timely planning and delivery of goods.

    Use data-driven decision-making and trend analysis to produce Make-To-Stock (MTS) SKUs.

    Take ownership of inventory optimization and drive performance on planning KPIs, including On-Time Delivery (OTD).

    Lead weekly S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) meetings to address changes in demand or requirements.

    Apply sound knowledge of MRP, ERP systems, and planning processes to improve operational efficiency.

    Key Skills & Qualifications:

    Strong analytical and planning skills

    Good understanding of inventory management and production planning

    Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc. preferred)

    Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills

    Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
