• Perform diagnostic testing to accurately identify issues
• General service and repair work on various types of vehicles

• Complete job cards and report work status to our Head Technician
• Maintain a tidy work area and properly store all tools and spare parts
• Handle other typical duties of a Diesel Mechanic

Skills and Experience:

• Full Diesel Mechanic qualifications (minimum of Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology)
• Experience with engine rebuilds, clutches, and gearboxes is advantageous
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Familiarity with the layout of European, American, and Japanese trucks
• Ability to work effectively both in a team and independently
• Valid driver ’ s license
• Reliable punctuality and strong time management skills

• Actively follow all Workplace Health & Safety procedures and practices consistent with legislative requirements and regulations.
• Provide mechanical maintenance and repairs to 4WD buses to safety standards
• Provide mechanical maintenance and repairs to the Resort fleet of vehicles to safety standards

A Reliability mechanic is a part of the MI & Reliability team that takes care of all types of plant equipment Preventive and predictive maintenance including utility general maintenance . Mechanic will be responsible for Vibration analysis, Lubrication of equipment, of utility , preparation of spare part list, equipment repairs, and PM records and data. Beside the above regular activities, he will also support in developing SOPs, JSA, root cause analysis .

Requirements, knowledge and skills:

· Basic understanding of mechanical systems, cranes, and conveyors.

· Familiarity with shop machines such as bench grinder, lathe, milling machine, hand tools, soldering/de-soldering iron, drill press, multimeter, arbor press, hydraulic press, and pneumatic screwdriver.

· Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and repairing mechanical assemblies.

· Reliability, self-motivation, and willingness to learn.

· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Candidate profile would be

· Age group not more than 45 years old
