Job Summary:
The Engineer is responsible for design and development of Water and Wastewater products. This role involves working under the guidance of experienced engineers, conducting research, analyzing data, and contributing to the optimization of production processes.
**Responsibilities:-**
Create 3D models and CAD drawings of engineered products/process equipment, including the creation of general arrangement, assembly, and fabrication drawings.
Conversion of 2D Drawings to 3D Models, as well as modification, improvement, and reverse engineering of existing designs and products.
Involve in sustaining the engineering of products/equipment like, keep them updated to meet the technological/manufacturing/market needs.
Understanding P&ID, PFD, Equipment / Pump datasheets, 3D design and detailing of skid-based water treatment systems like UF, RO, CEDI, CIP, UV, Softeners, etc.,
Create Bills of Materials (BOMs) in an enterprise resource planning (ERP / SAP) system.
Create and update the metadata of designs and 3D models in the PDM/PLM system (Vault Pro) for records, control, and retrieval.
Cross-functional interaction/coordination to ensure product/equipment design meets the complete technical requirement.
Collaborate with Product Engineers to address technical requirements and coordinate with the manufacturing team to address design and manufacturing queries.
Coordinate with vendors on the selection of bought outs, considering alternatives, and ensure compliance with given specifications in consultation with Product / Project Engineers.
Requirements:-
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with First Class.
3 years of hands-on experience in 3D CAD using Autodesk Inventor. Exposure in AutoCAD, CREO and Solid Works will be an added advantage but not a must.
Experience in equipment/product design and detail engineering with fair knowledge of material specification, fabrication detailing, Limits, Fits, and GD&T, are preferred.
Experience in equipment design and detail engineering in the domain of Water and Wastewater Treatment is preferred or similar experience in the Oil & Gas, Chemical processes and Power plants can be considered.
Experience in detail engineering of skid-based water treatment systems like UF, RO, CEDI, CIP, UV, Softeners etc., with structural design and detailing of skid frames, and tank weldment assemblies are preferred.
Experience in interconnecting piping, piping standards, material standards, and codes applicable to water and wastewater treatment equipment and systems are preferred.
Exposure to MS Office package for preparing necessary documents, and Excel files ppt's will be an advantage.
Experience in working with international teams towards engineering design will be an advantage.
Good communication skills to liaise with international teams; Extra miler / self-driven to meet commitments/goals. Be analytical and problem-solving.

tolerances in a product development environment, preferably analytical instrumentation.
▪ Proven experience of working with high precision manufacturing, CNC/ VMC, lathe, sheet
metal, Plastic injection moulding, Vacuum Casting, Additive manufacturing processes.
▪ Expert in GD&T and tolerance stacking.
▪ Interacted with cross functional teams to deliver an integrated product that spans
electronics, optics, software and firmware.
▪ Performed simulations for structural integrity as well as for thermal and fluid dynamics to
enhance product features and designs.
▪ Experience in change management, cross-functional collaboration, and leading mechanical
teams.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Must have:
▪ Proficiency in CAD/CAE tools (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, ANSYS, COMSOL) for mechanical
design and simulations.
▪ Prototyping, mechanical testing, and validation using modern tools and instruments.
▪ Experience in material selection, manufacturability analysis, and design for reliability.
▪ Knowledge of Sheet metal, CNC / VMC machining and lathe
Good to have:

Job Summary:
The Mechanical Design Engineer will work with a team of engineers and understand the
requirements of the gearbox design for product development of wind turbine gearboxes
and build the component design using 3D CAD and engineering drawings with high quality.
Technical Skills & Key Responsibilities:
- Fundamental understanding of the mechanical design principles and Machine Elements
- Good exposure to designing of gearbox components like Planetry & Helical.
- Knowledge of GD&T and tolerance and Stack up analysis.
- Work within teams to gain an understanding of gearbox and mechanical interfaces
- and their design requirements
- Experience in 3D CAD design of the gearbox component and related 2D drawings
- Responsible for quality and timely delivery of all drawings
- Previous experience in wind/industrial gearboxes industry is an added advantage.
Qualification / Experience
Bachelors / Master’s in Mechanical engineering –Design - 5 to 8 years’ experience
Software Knowledge:
NX (Unigraphics), Teamcenter , Basics of Microsoft Office tools
