About the Role:

We have multiple opportunities available for qualified DIESEL MECHANICS to join our dynamic teams across Australia where your expertise will keep our vehicles on the road. Relocation available for the right candidate/s.  As a vital member of our maintenance crew you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of Fleet to repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues with precision.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Conduct mechanical assessments for diagnosis and fault finding in machinery ensuring efficient repair, maintenance and servicing to keep our fleet on the road
• Service the entire fleet including trucks, trailers, dollies and motor vehicles in adherence to our Maintenance and Workshop procedures.
• Identify issues, recommend solutions and perform replacement of brakes, suspension components, steering systems and major engine components.
• Conduct body building tasks, including welding and grinding of chassis or comb rails on flat top trailers
• Handle auto electrical work on all 12V or 24V systems
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues ensuring minimal downtime
• Order and replace worn or damaged parts, ensuring adherence to Quality Standards and Manufacture Specifications

Skills and Experience: 

• Ideally 2-3yrs experience as a Diesel Mechanic working on fleet vehicles/trailers etc.
• Australian recognized Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic Trade Qualification
• Unlimited Australian work rights (no restrictions) 
• Passionate about all things mechanical with an ability to think critically and creatively to help in diagnosing complex mechanical problems efficiently

Rock Mechanics Expert Senior Geotechnical Engineer with academic specialization and/or experience in Rock Mechanics .

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geotechnical or Geological engineering 8 to 10 years of relevant engineering experience Relevant work experience includes the following : Design and supervision of ground investigation programs Rock mass classification Rock joints survey/stereographic projection, and kinematic Analysis Derivation of strength and deformation parameters of jointed rock Rock slope Stability and rockfall evaluation Design of rock bolts, anchors, shotcrete, wire-nets, Numerical modeling Rock slope monitoring Application of probability theory Leadership qualities including teamwork, communication, business sense, and value will be considered essential assets.

What role you will play in our team

We are seeking a skilled Fluid Mechanics engineer to drive innovation and enhance our well performance across global assets. The role involves a combination of technical, analytical, and project management responsibilities to drive innovation and efficiency in upstream oil and gas operations and carbon capture and storage (CCS).

What you will do

•  Build computational models and simulations using proprietary and vendor tools to enhance design and operational practices and address evolving business needs.
• Design, build and execute parametric studies using simulation models to provide engineering design recommendations for business decisions. Conduct research and development on new technologies, methods, or best practices.
• Work with wells engineers, drilling and completion experts, computational and data scientists, and laboratory scientists across the globe to enhance understanding of subsurface technologies and tools.
•  Create tutorials, documentation, training material or case studies. Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Mentor other engineers to help build their technical competencies in fluid mechanics and multiphase modeling.

About You

Skills and Qualifications

• Masters with thesis or PhD degree from a recognized university in petroleum/chemical/mechanical/ civil engineering disciplines with minimum GPA 7.0.
• Up to 3 years of research (academic/industry) experience in flow modeling and simulation in solving business problems.
• Strong Fluid Mechanics and Computation Fluid Dynamics fundamentals and experience with Numerical Methods and Engineering Applications such as Ansys Fluent, STAR-CCM+, Open FOAM, Olga for solving Computational Fluid Dynamics or flow analysis problems

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with data manipulation and visualization in any programming language (preferably Python or MATLAB) for analyzing experimental, simulation or sensor data.
• Experience in working with problems related to multiphase flow modeling is preferred.
• Experience in data science (e.g., machine learning, optimization) will be an added advantage.
• Demonstrated teamwork, communication and leadership skills are essential.

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of flight mechanics and
control engineers

Tech Skills Required :

Provide expert guidance on flight mechanics, control theory, and aerospace engineering principles.

Familiar with safety critical development including ARP4754, DO-178B/C and DO-254 or equivalent stringent process requirements and regulatory frame works of FAA/EASA/DGCA.
