Manager – Meetings & Incentives (MICE) & Travel Trade for North and East India
(Representing a Major South-East Asian Destination in India)
We are looking for a dynamic, well-networked professional to lead Meetings, Incentives, and Travel Trade initiatives for a leading South-East Asian destination from North and East Indian markets. The role involves promoting the destination’s MICE offerings, building relationships with corporate and travel trade partners, and driving measurable business results through strategic engagement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Market Development & Client Engagement
Promote Meeting and Incentive group travel to a premier Asian destination in North and East India.
Develop and maintain relationships with senior corporate decision-makers (70% of the work) and MICE travel agents (30% work).
Build and nurture a database of key corporate and trade contacts, targeting a minimum of 25 new leads per month (15 corporate minimum).
Conduct one-on-one client meetings,
Be able to prepare and give destination presentations to corporate, MICE agencies and other larger seminars.
Provide destination insights, market intelligence, and strategic recommendations to enhance visibility and business from India.
2. Account & Client Servicing
Manage day-to-day client servicing- including supporting agencies with group operations, and ensuring seamless coordination with destination counterparts.
Support trade partners and corporates with destination knowledge, itinerary planning, and incentive ideas.
Provide market feedback and insights on emerging trends, competition, and macroeconomic factors.
3. Marketing Coordination
Support and coordinate MICE marketing and co-op campaigns from concept to execution.
Evaluate proposals for quality, ROI, and alignment with brand objectives.
Monitor campaign KPIs, track deliverables, and manage post-campaign documentation and invoicing.
Prepare and present market feedback in regular review calls and reports.
4. Trade Education & Development
Conduct periodic trade training sessions and product update presentations.
Collaborate with key travel trade partners to develop and refresh MICE-focused itineraries and experiences.
Integrate the destination’s key experiences into corporate and MICE cruise offerings.
5. Reporting & Analytics
Submit weekly sales and activity reports.
Compile and present monthly and half-yearly MICE performance reports with qualitative and quantitative insights.
Contribute to internal databases, research initiatives, and market analyses.
Required Skills & Attributes
Professional Competencies
Strong understanding of the Indian MICE and travel trade landscape.
Proven experience in corporate or incentive group sales, ideally with a hotel chain, tourism board, or DMC.
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Canva.
Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
Analytical skills to assess market trends and performance data.
Strategic mindset to contribute to marketing and promotional planning.
Personal Attributes
Relationship-oriented with excellent networking skills.

Job Summary:
The MICE Executive / Assistant will support the planning, coordination, and execution of corporate events, incentive programs, meetings, and conferences. Key Responsibilities:
· Assist in the planning and organization of MICE events — including logistics, travel arrangements, hotel bookings, and event coordination.

· Liaise with vendors (hotels, airlines, DMCs, transport, venues, etc.) for quotations, confirmations, and service coordination.
· Prepare cost sheets, proposals, and itineraries under guidance of the MICE Manager.
· Support in budget tracking, documentation, and payment follow-ups related to assigned projects.
· Maintain accurate files, checklists, and reports for all events and ensure timely internal communication.
· Provide on-site event assistance during departures, check-ins, and event execution as required.
· Ensure post-event feedback collection and client satisfaction reports.
· Stay updated on new destinations, suppliers, and trends relevant to MICE travel.

Associate Project Specialist will be responsible for processing contracts and related documents, connecting with stakeholders, and tracking ongoing work.
+ Production: (1) Support scientific events activities & external expert engagements (2) Process contract and related documents within defined timelines (3) Check country specificities and handle queries received from country approver and/or external experts (4) Timely follow-ups with event leads, country approvers, and external experts

(4) Plan and monitor different types of meetings, identify risks early in the process and set up a risk mitigation plan. Oversee all program logistics, including attendee registration and data management, food and beverage selection, speaker communications, audiovisual needs, and off-site venues, and on occasion provide hands-on program management. (5) Ensure budget management, financial reconciliation and post-meeting reporting to identify synergies and cost-efficiencies achieved. (6) Serve as the subject-matter expert for the implementation & training of technology solutions, and analysis of attendee data. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for One Sanofi platforms such as Veeva Vault CRM Events Management platform, SpotMe and CVent, as well as other meeting technology solutions.

+ **Experience** : 1+ years for experience in Stakeholder & Project management.
+ **Soft skills** : Good communication skills; and ability to work independently and within a team environment. User and Data Management. Planning and analytical skills.
