Role Overview

We are looking for dedicated Music Teachers across multiple specializations. Each position is individual and independent you will focus on your area of expertise while being part of a collaborative, creative team.

Open Roles:

• Keyboard Teacher

• Guitar Teacher

• Carnatic Vocal Teacher

• Other Instrument Teachers (Violin, Drums, Flute, etc.) – open to applications!

Key Responsibilities (for each role):

• Conduct engaging, structured classes for students (group and/or individual).

• Prepare lesson plans and guide students through graded progress.

• Inspire students to perform, participate in events, and enjoy their musical journey.

• Maintain a positive, encouraging, and professional classroom environment.

Requirements:

• Proficiency and formal training in your instrument/vocal style.

• Prior teaching experience preferred (but not mandatory if you’re passionate and skilled).

• Strong communication skills and patience with children.

• Ability to commit to regular classes (part-time or full-time options available).

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Music Teacher based in Pune. The Music Teacher will be responsible for developing and delivering music education programs, teaching music theory and performance, and providing piano instruction to students of various age groups and skill levels. The Music Teacher will also collaborate with fellow staff to organize musical events and recitals, evaluate student progress, and provide feedback to enhance their musical skills.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Music Theory and Music Performance
• Experience in Music Education and teaching methodologies
• Skills in playing and teaching the Piano
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
• Previous experience in a teaching role is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field

• Plan and deliver structured western music lessons for students across relevant grade levels.
• Teach vocal and/or instrumental music based on student interest and school curriculum.
• Train students for school assemblies, annual functions, concerts, and inter-school competitions.
• Conduct choir practices, individual coaching, and group rehearsals.
• Introduce students to various musical genres and cultural forms.
• Organize music-related activities, clubs, and school events.
• Maintain instruments and ensure proper care and usage.
• Assess and record student progress and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with other performing arts coaches and academic staff.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Music or a relevant field.
• Formal training in Indian and/or Western classical/contemporary music.
• Minimum 2 years of experience teaching music in a school or institutional setting.
• Ability to play one or more instruments (keyboard, guitar, tabla, etc.) is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about working with children and nurturing musical talent.

Preferred:

• Experience with school-level event planning and music production.
• Ability to compose or arrange music for school events or performances.
• Exposure to music grading systems like Trinity College London/ABRSM (optional but a plus).
