To meet Volunteers/front-line health workers/ Asha worker/stack holders for conducting camps in nearby area
Identify places for conducting eye camps by visiting various places, meeting people in society, developing rapport with them in close vicinity of vision
Guide/Counsel patients about their query or surgery/further treatment
Patient registration in the HIMS software (Splintech) when posted at Vision center
Taking at most care of vision center specially HK/cleaning/equipment’s safety etc
arrangement of all the necessary material
Ensure to distribute leaflets and other publicity material and brochures
Give proper instructions to patients selected for cataract surgery and ask them to come for the same on designated days. Prepare a list of patients advised surgery and further check-up.
Daily reporting to Project Coordinator. Making sure to achieve expected patient footfall.
Preparation of Monthly reports on activities carried in the particular month
Proper handling of Cash collected from OPD patient at Vision center
Collected cash is to be deposited timely
Any other addition to the above you shall attend to all other duties that are assigned to you by the management from time to time.

About the Role:
The position is situated within Adult Community Mental Health Services (ACMHS) for The Older Persons Mental Health Community Team (OPMHCT) however, staff may be required to work across any of the Adult Community Mental Health Services to meet operational demand. OPMHCT operates across the Australian Capital Territory, adhering to both the Adult Community Mental Health Model of Care and the Older Persons Community Mental Health Model of Care.
ACMHS program area services the community’s mental health needs in the areas of intake, recovery, supported and therapeutic accommodation, therapy, older persons, neuropsychology, assertive community outreach, homeless outreach, and intensive home treatment. The Intake Services Teams – ACMHS, includes Access Mental Health Team (AMHT) - Triage and Comprehensive Services, Home Assessment and Acute Response Team (HAART) which includes Police Ambulance Clinician Early Response (PACER), Rapid Response, and Intensive Home Treatment (IHT) service.
OPMHCT is a specialist mental health service that provides community-based specialist assessment, advice, consultation to other health care providers, plus a range of interventions including assessment, advice, advocacy, short term treatment and interventions, intensive or assertive outreach treatment, clinical management, physical health review, Clozapine initiation / review, and care coordination.
The position reports to the OPMHCT Team Leader and the successful applicant will work within a multidisciplinary team of Allied Health staff, Nurses, Administrative staff, Psychiatric registrars and Consultant Psychiatrists. Support will be provided through direct & indirect supervision to provide high quality mental health tasks and achieve sound outcomes for people, contribute to the multidisciplinary team processes, undertake professional development and professional supervision, and participate in quality initiatives.

Key responsibility of the role will include community engagement, education, promotion and advocacy and to provide cultural mentoring and guidance to our non-indigenous team members. This role is also required to develop and deliver and coordinate an innovative program, of activities and opportunities for and with young people with an emphasis on good choices and sexual health encompassing a community development context.
