Mandatory Skills

- Good knowledge of all the relevant Eurocodes and British standards applicable to maritime structures
- Excellent computer/software skills (STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD, MS Office)

The role requires experience in the design of deep and shallow foundations for maritime structures, as well as experience in dredging, reclamation and ground improvement works for major port projects.
+ Perform technical tasks such as geotechnical analyses, calculations, design, verification or desktop studies for the development of maritime infrastructure.
+ Perform stability, settlement, and foundation analyses for piers, wharves, retaining walls, quay walls, etc.
+ Evaluate soil-structure interaction and provide recommendations for foundation systems, including shallow and deep foundations.
+ Perform liquefaction assessments, design ground improvement techniques, slope stabilisation measures and earthworks.
