Role:
The Navigation Integrated Systems Engineer (NAVISYS Engineer) is the go-to interlocutor of vessels, Fleet Superintendents, Partner contract holders (maker, vendors), and transversal departments (Technical Department, Procurement, SSE, Newbuilding, etc.) regarding the maintenance of the Navigation Integrated Systems. As such, the NAVISYS Engineer implements or monitor that the appropriate actions are taken to meet the technical and regulatory needs and work with the partners to ensure operational condition within the budget of the CMA Ships' Fleets.
Responsibilities and Duties:
As per company standards, you shall:
• Comply with IMS and all relevant international rules and regulations;
• Ensure all your duties in accordance with quality, health, safety, environmental and ethics policies; • Propose a continuous performance improvement plan which will be reported and reviewed on a periodical basis;
• Monitor or organize the plan surveys / health check / maintenance of navigation integrated systems and provide support to vessels and shore teams including risk assessment for new situation or for planned intervention;
• Manage with vessel Superintendents / Vessel managers the repairs within time and budget by sourcing best solutions with key partners;
• Support, Assist and monitor vessel compliance with flag and class requirement related to navigation integrated systems;
• Feedback and challenge repair proposal of partners or vendors to ensure operational availability; • Contribute actively for the issuance of experience feedback, lessons learned from vessel’s navigation integrated systems to improve reliability;
• Maintain up to date data base of radio and navigation system onboard, discuss with expert team optimal lifecycle of navigation integrated systems;
• Evaluate and assess regularly partners and key vendors with segment purchasers;
• Prepare the annual budget for assigned vessels in consultation with the Expert/Superintendents/Vessel managers;
• Attend vessels in ports when required (to be up to date with equipment’s, service).
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or Electronics and Telecommunications.
Experience:
• 3 years’ experience in support of vessels is preferred.
Special Knowledge and Skills:
• Good knowledge of integrated radio and navigation systems, OT networking, cybersecurity controls
• Skills to provide best support to vessels and shore teams
• Troubleshooting, initiative, flair to solve issues and curiosity for new technologies
• Project management skills, competencies in various software programs, includes Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Power Query
• Fluent in English
• Excellent communication and analytical skills, ability to work both independently and in a team-based environment.

The Embedded Systems Manager for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for designing, developing, troubleshooting modules and applying life cycle management principles and upholding established design practices and quality processes throughout development.
This position reports to the Head of Life Cycle Management & Group Manager and is part of the R&D Hardware/Systems Development team located in Bengaluru - BDC and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Provide strong leadership and guidance to the Embedded team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
