Join the ACT’s only tertiary-level neonatal service, where innovation meets compassion. The Department of Neonatology offers a dynamic and supportive environment across NICU, SCN, ACT NETS, NAPSS, and the Newborn Growth and Development Clinic. With 36 funded beds and over 750 neonatal admissions annually, we deliver state-of-the-art, family-centred care. As a Registered Nurse new to neonatal care, you’ll be part of a 12-month Neonatal Foundation Program featuring study days, supernumerary shifts, and clinical rotations. By the end of the program, you’ll be confidently caring for premature and sick neonates and their families in both NICU and SCN.
