A Day in the Life of GSOC Engineering Team
The Missing Link Global Security Operations Centre provides 24x7 Managed Services (MS) support to our clients across a variety of sectors. Day-to-day you will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting Level 1 & Level 2 support for market-leading security technologies such as Palo Alto, CyberArk, Fortinet, Cisco, Checkpoint, Cloudflare, Zscaler, SASE solutions & more. You will also collaborate with our Security Architects, Engineers and clients to facilitate the transition from implementation project to managed service.
While most work will be supporting our clients during their hours of operation, you will also be required to assist the Senior SOC Engineers in responding to incidents, as well as working closely with MDR (Watcher) Team to respond and defend against malicious activity targeting our clients.

Requirements
Essential
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Network Security within a Managed Service Provider or similar role.
- Familiar with NextGen Firewalls, Cloud SASE (such as Zscaler), Web Application Firewalls, Identity/Privilege Access Management solutions, and other security technologies, with hands-on experience in configuration and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of products like CyberArk, Cloudflare WAF, and other SASE products is a plus.
- Understanding of Network Segmentation, URL Filtering, Packet Inspection, Certificate services, virtualization and cloud security technologies.
- Solid grasp of IT fundamentals, OSI Model, TCP/IP stack, and Network architectures.
- Good analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills, able to troubleshoot issues under tight deadlines and perform well in a fast-paced environment.
- Actively contributed to improving SOC processes, procedures and best practices.
- Developing problem-solving skills with a focus on innovative solutions and root cause analysis.

• Manage advanced security configurations of Palo Alto firewalls locally and globally with the deployed Prisma Access SASE solution
