Job Summary:

Bechtel is now accepting applications for Nuclear Engineering Graduates to join our Graduate Program located at our Sydney office. Education and Experience Requirements:

• Australian or New Zealand citizenship or be an Australian Permanent Resident at the time of applying.

• Have completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in the past two years in Nuclear Engineering (2024 or 2025) or be due to complete it by the commencement of the program.

• Be able to pass any pre-employment requirements such as a drug screen and background check.

K & A are looking to appoint a Design Engineer/ Energy modeller for the Energy Management to provide their expertise and design knowledge on a variety of high profile multi-disciplinary projects across the ME and abroad.

Although the role will be based in either our Bengaluru office, you will be very much part of a national practice of Building Design professionals delivering design solutions to clients across the ME. The Building Design practice work on projects across all of K & A key sectors, including Aviation, Cities & Development, Education, Energy and Transportation.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer to join an internationally renowned consultancy, affording the opportunity to work on large scale multidiscipline projects.

The individual will have the following attributes (but not limited to):

Must be proficient in Energy modelling software ie. All modules of IES-VE, Energy Plus or eQuest

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer renewable energy systems (solar PV, wind turbines, biomass).
• Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies for new project developments.
• Develop technical specifications, drawings, and documentation for renewable energy installations.
• Oversee the installation and commissioning of renewable energy equipment.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of operational systems, identifying areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project management, procurement, and construction.
• Prepare technical reports, proposals, and cost estimations.
• Stay current with advancements in renewable energy technologies and market trends.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, with hands-on experience in system design and project execution.
• Proficiency in energy modeling software (e.g., PVSyst, Homer) and CAD tools.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, grid integration, and energy storage solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of relevant government policies and incentives for renewable energy.

• Design and develop renewable energy systems, including solar, wind, and hybrid solutions.
• Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments for new projects.
• Perform energy modeling and performance analysis of renewable energy installations.
• Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and reports.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
