Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our fertility team. The successful candidate will provide direct patient care, assist with fertility procedures, and support patients throughout their reproductive journey with empathy and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care & Clinical Support
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing fertility treatments
• Assist physicians during procedures including IVF retrievals, embryo transfers, and IUI procedures
• Monitor patients pre, during, and post-procedure for any complications
• Administer medications and injections as prescribed by physicians
• Collect and process patient samples following established protocols
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Patient Education & Communication
• Educate patients about fertility treatments, procedures, and medication protocols
• Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families
• Communicate lab results and treatment updates to patients in a timely and sensitive manner
• Coordinate patient appointments and follow-up care
• Respond to patient inquiries via phone and in-person consultations
Clinical Operations
• Maintain sterile technique and infection control standards
• Ensure proper handling and storage of medications and laboratory specimens
• Assist with quality control measures and maintain equipment
• Participate in clinic meetings and continuing education programs
Administrative Duties
• Coordinate with laboratory and administrative staff
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and clinic policies
Required Qualifications
Education & Certification
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Bsc Nursing) or Diploma in Nursing
• Current registration with Karnataka Nursing Council
• Valid nursing license in Karnataka state
Experience
• Minimum 2-3 years of nursing experience, preferably in women's health, obstetrics, or fertility
• Experience with reproductive medicine procedures preferred
• Knowledge of fertility medications and treatment protocols is advantageous
Technical Skills
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Knowledge of laboratory procedures and specimen handling
• Ability to operate medical equipment and monitoring devices
• Computer literacy and familiarity with clinic management software
