Job Description:

Role Summary:

As a Salesforce OMS Lead Developer, he/she will be part of a collaborative project team, responsible for understanding business requirements, development, reviewing code, writing unit test scenarios and fixing defects for in-use modules/applications. He/she will be responsible for providing technical guidance and leading the team towards successfully delivering projects along with keeping the team motivated. He/she will leverage a number of proprietary and standard/tools and will be primarily responsible to provide support in effort estimation on tasks, develop and maintain code for various SF applications, administer change requests, reviewing code, unit-test and resolving any defects in the system along with support in developing technical documents for the assigned project.

Key Qualifications:

• 6-9 years’ work experience performing relevant engineering job functions preferably in the eCommerce space.
• 6+ years of Salesforce development experience with mastery of Apex programming, JavaScript, Visualforce, LWC, SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce APIs.
• Deep knowledge of the Salesforce platform and experience with multiple Salesforce products: OMS, OCI, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, and Mulesoft.
• Understanding of data and system integration tools, methods and platforms
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Java/Kotlin, Spring, Kafka, SQL, GitHub, CI/CD, Eclipse IDEs, and JavaScript/HTML/CSS is a plus.
• Exceptional problem solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Position Overview
As Sterling OMS Developer, this role will be instrumental in delivering digital order management solutions for the Ralph Lauren US, EU and APAC using IBM Sterling Order Management (Commerce on Cloud) platform. Purpose & Scope: Based in Bengaluru, India this developer role will be working in partnership with Global Digital teams leveraging strong technology & analytical skills to enable the development, testing, maintenance & operations of the order management application. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Order Management (75%)
•Be a development expert in the IBM Sterling OMS software lifecycle: including estimation, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment, and support.
•Develop microservices to support modular, scalable, and maintainable order management and customer service workflows.
•Participate as a team member with business analysts, SMEs, consultants, and vendors to deliver business requirements, process flows, functional specifications, and system design documentation.
•Contribute to the development and enhancement of the IBM Nextgen call center platform using AngularJS, integrating it with OMS and backend services.
•Coordinate feature requests and change management with development partners, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
•Build and deploy code across all managed environments.
•Create and maintain technical design documents for Sterling OMS and microservices.
•Identify opportunities to improve order management and customer service through better system usage, new enhancements, and improved business processes.
•Coordinate product cases and support tickets with the IBM CoC team.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

•Proven experience with IBM Sterling OMS (DOM, SOM, COM).
•Strong understanding of order and inventory management in a multi-channel environment (eCommerce, Retail).
•Experience in Java, XML, XSLT, SQL, and familiarity with SOA, REST, JSON.
•Hands-on experience in designing and developing microservices using modern frameworks and tools.
•Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, GitHub/Bitbucket.
