Key Responsibilities
· Patient Admission, Discharge, and Transfer : Manage patient processes in accordance with hospital protocols.
· Comprehensive Patient Assessment: Monitor vital signs, perform physical examinations, and continuously assess patient conditions.
· Treatment Administration: Administer prescribed oncology treatments, including chemotherapy, targeted therapy and immunotherapy, while monitoring for adverse reactions.
· Chemoport & PICC Line Management : Efficiently insert, maintain, and monitor chemoports and PICC lines to support patients requiring long-term intravenous therapies, including chemotherapy, nutrition, or antibiotics
· Symptom Management : Identify and manage treatment-related side effects, providing appropriate interventions to ensure patient comfort.
· Patient and Family Education: Offer clear information about diagnoses, treatment plans, and self-care strategies, addressing any questions or concerns.
· Coordination of Care : Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, ensuring seamless patient care. Efficient in managing side effects related to chemotherapy/immunotherapy/targeted therapy administration like extravasation, anaphylaxis, nausea/vomiting, etc.
