Job Title: Information Security Analyst / Analyst – Identity Governance and Compliance

Department: Information Security – Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Information Security Analyst / Sr. Analyst to join our GRC team, with a focus on Identity Governance and Compliance. This role is pivotal in ensuring that Identity and Access Management (IAM) practices align with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices. The ideal candidate will have experience with User Access Reviews (UAR), Active Directory (AD), and a strong understanding of security frameworks such as PCI DSS, ISO 27001, NIST, and COBIT.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the Identity Governance and compliance activities, including periodic User Access Reviews (UAR) and RBAC activities.
• Ensure IAM practices comply with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and enhance identity governance policies, standards, and procedures.
• Provide subject matter expertise on Active Directory (AD), including group policies and access provisioning/deprovisioning.
• Align identity governance practices with frameworks such as PCI DSS, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and COBIT.
• Engage with IT, HR, and business units to enforce least privilege principles and maintain accurate access records.
• Conduct regular training sessions for the SM team on security controls and client requirements.
• Coordinate SME involvement in quarterly meetings and training initiatives.
• Maintain and organize SharePoint and Jira spaces for audit readiness and evidence management.
• Participate in incident management, change control meetings, and cloud migration initiatives.
• Engage in SOC operations and threat tracking.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in identity governance and GRC processes.
• Lead the annual review of security information presentations in collaboration with Compliance.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2 – 5 years of experience in Information Security, with a focus on Identity Governance and Compliance.
• Strong understanding of User Access Review (UAR) processes and tools.
• Experience with Active Directory (AD) and identity lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks: PCI DSS, ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, or GIAC.
• Experience with IAM tools (e.g., SailPoint, Saviynt, Okta, Azure AD).
• Prior experience supporting internal or external audits.
• Knowledge of GRC tools and platforms.
• Understanding of legal and regulatory standards such as FERPA, CIS, and data protection laws.
• Knowledge of Cloud Identity (AWS or Azure Identity).

Key requirements / skills / experience

• Relevant university degree or equivalent experience
• Experience in IAM systems and technologies, such as user provisioning, authentication, authorization and identity governance. This includes experience with protocols and standards such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and LDAP, SSO, MFA and IAM platform like Okta, Ping or Azure AD.
• Work experience with Active Directory, CyberArk PIM, ServiceNow would be a plus
• Cloud IAM experience and designing and implementation of IAM solutions for cloud-based applications and services such as AWS, AZURE or GCP.
• In-Depth understanding of IAM security concepts, including access control, threat management and security operations.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements, such as GDPR, HIPPA, PCI- DSS and ISO 27001, COBIT Framework and ability to design IAM solution that comply with these standards.
• Excellent interpersonal skills (communication, negotiation and mediation) and ability to develop business relationships with stakeholders
• Excellent verbal and written English required; additional foreign language skills are advantageous
• Project management experience would be a plus
• High adaptability skills to an environment which is constantly changing and developing

Desired requirements / skills / experience

• Previous business experience in designing and implementing Identity and Access Management in previous organization.
• Relevant business experience designing and architecture of Identity and access Management with business requirements and security standards in mind.
• Understanding of data privacy and safeguarding function controls

Job Experience Requirements:

• Experience with managing advanced components of Active Directory group policy, DNS, ADSS, PKI, Azure AD
• Expertise with IAM fundamentals RBAC, PAM, Auditing, SSO
• Familiarity with Identity and access management tools like SailPoint and Azure AD
• Knowledge of identity frameworks, as well as the deployment of various identity models within a large enterprise setting
• Comfortable writing scripts with Powershell
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address potential security risks and strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance with policies and regulations. 
• Broad understanding of cybersecurity including identity stores, authentication / authorization, strong authentication, & privileged access management capabilities and methodologies 
• Drives the standards and systems architecture to support Identity & Access Management. 
• Responsible for reporting on Identity and systems compliance across the organization and timely certification of compliance. 
• Understands the business and technical requirements to design solutions from a business and technical viewpoint.

   Advance expertise with Active Directory, Windows Operating Systems, and Cloud computing. 

   Experience with Identity and access management tools like SailPoint, OKTA, Azure AD, Single Sign-On, etc. 

   Knowledge of identity frameworks the deployment of various identity models within a large enterprise setting 

   Scripting Expertise in languages like Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
