Job Purpose -  Leads the marketing organization to ensure consistent, successful and meticulous implementation of local and global marketing strategies, for the business to underpin Castrol strategy. Incumbent will be member of the leadership team, contributing to the delivery and scorecard.

Key Accountabilities

Planning

  • Full accountability for the marketing strategy and its delivery in the context of the business’s strategy including Castrol/C&P (Customer & Products) and PU (Performance Unit) level marketing plans.
  • Lead the country teams to develop the annual marketing plans & marketing roadmap in line with the respective signed off Operating Business Plan (OBP) and Growth Strategy
  • Accountable for marketing investment and establishing programs to provide assurance and measurement against strategic and tactical goals.
  • Bring the voice of consumers and customers to the leadership table and ensuring appropriate focus on delivery of the marketing strategy.
  • Contribute for key Castrol and global innovation pipeline development as representing Castrol India with strong local insights

Execution

  • Drive the activation of Marketing programs as per signed off plans in the accountable geography
  • Ensure effective deployment of spends across activity sets and programmes in markets. Conduct rigorous evaluation of the business results to ensure cost efficiency.
  • Product portfolio management to deliver near- and long-term GM growth targets consistent with global space/brand strategies
  • Communication and promotion to both consumer and trade including thought leadership programmes to B2B customers
  • Champion and drive the generation of key insights through market research and competitive intelligence in order to feed into strategic planning, pricing and insight decision-making
  • Channel strategy, customer segmentation and development of winning customer value propositions
  • Lead the Castrol Marketing Review (CMR) process, and provide inputs/outputs to the Operating Business Plan (OBP), opportunities/vulnerability
  • Direct responsibility for product value price setting through market price intelligence data in line with BP legal guidelines
  • Support deployment and ensure optimization of the Castrol Marketing Hub

Education

  • MBA or equivalent post graduate degree in business or Marketing from premier institute only.

Experience

  • Having 18+ years of experience in Sales and Marketing in global FMCG companies or Marketing led companies
  • With 10+ years of experience in Marketing leadership roles
  • Experience of leading high-performance teams
  • Significant experience in disciplined marketing campaign execution
  • Experience of working with agencies across multiple channels and countries

**1. Project Management of Campaign Delivery:**

o Coordinate the submission of any other Aftersales Marketing content into the translation process on behalf of the team, ensuring translations are delivered on time.
o Act as key translation contact for EME Sales team reviewers and ensure we are sharing with them a heads-up of translation review projects to come and coordinating any cover during peak holiday seasons.
**4. Finance Processing:**
o Maintain an accurate invoice tracker
o Raise shopping carts in the SRM system, track to Purchase Order (PO) creation and communicate to management.
o Check invoices for accuracy, create PO confirmations in the SRM system and email invoices to the correct Indirect Invoicing team for payment processing.
o Reconcile monthly actuals against the invoice tracker, adjust accordingly and provide management summaries.
o Complete the monthly accruals templates, obtain management approval and email to the Finance Manager.
o Respond in a timely manner to any Finance queries on PO issues.
o Process ad hoc payments.
o Adhere to vendor data management processes for vendor creation, extensions and reactivations and resolve issues when required .
o FCPA audit report submissions.
**5. General Coordination Duties:**
o Support to coordinate any activities within the global Aftersales Marketing Services team that are deemed suitable and require planning and organizing. E.g. Project management and coordination of internal, dealer or retail events.
**Your Experience and Qualifications**
+ Experience with coordinating Marketing projects either in-house or agency with an understanding of the creative process and a proven track record of supporting a team to deliver on time.
+ Experience in using a Project-based software, (e.g. Monday.com) to track and support project delivery.
+ Proven track record of identifying, recommending and implementing project process improvement. Actively seeks feedback on own performance and how they can improve to support the team better.
+ Demonstrates a desire to understand intricacies of campaign delivery, willingness to help and support the team to resolve blockers.
+ Graduate Degree in Business Management with Project Management certification is an advantage.

The Marketing and Communications Manager is part of an important team that creates and executes property-level communications to our customers. **Public Relations and Visual Asset Management**

Marketing Support
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of MCPR services, business goals and objectives, internal clients, capabilities, and personnel.
- Assess needs for task requirements, including collection or preparation of background material to complete assigned tasks.
- Respond to and execute various marketing and marketing administrative requests, which may include.
o Writing (e.g., resumes, project profiles, web content, etc).
o Data entry and maintenance of reports or other materials as requested.
o SharePoint and website assistance, as requested.
- Special projects, including research and general business administration functions, as requested,
Design Production
- Produce branded marketing/communications collateral using existing Stantec templates, including but not limited to
o Ceros page updates for stantec.com, including global microsite updates in multiple languages.
o Flatsheets, SOQs (digital and print-ready)
o Social media posts
o Video/animation support, as requested.
o Data visualization support, as requested.

- Working knowledge in the use of desktop publishing software such as InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat and Distiller.
- Strong presentation skills in small or large group environments, with proficiency in presentation support tools (e.g., PowerPoint).
- Strong knowledge and understanding of marketing and business development best practices.
- Ability to work effectively within a group as well as independently motivated with primarily remote supervision.
- Ongoing training may involve professional development courses in the evenings or on weekends.
Education/Experience:
- Post-Secondary in English, writing, marketing, communications, journalism, public relations or an equivalent level of experience
- Minimum 1-5 years of experience in a marketing role in a medium to large sized organization
- Previous experience with engineering, architecture, interior design, professional services, or marketing related field is considered an asset
