1. Security Strategy and Policy: Develop, implement, and maintain OT security policies, standards, and procedures to protect critical infrastructure and operations.

Relevant Experience

• Minimum 3-5 years experience assessing against standards and frameworks including one or more of the following: IEC-62243/ISA-99, NIST CSF, NERC CIP, etc.
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, GICSP, GRID, GCIP, etc.).

# Major Responsibilities:
+ Development of 3D Model in S3D and extraction of Instrument, RIO Cabinets and Junction Box Location Plan drawings in Smart Sketch.
+ Preparation of Instrument Wiring Drawing and Loop Drawings using SPI Wiring and Loop Generation Modules.
+ Development of Cable Block Diagrams, Cable Schedule, Cable Routing & Tray Route Layout, JB Termination Drawing, Control & network patch panels drawings.
+ Preparation of Fire & Gas Layout Drawings. Develop Instrument Hook Up Drawings using MicroStation and AutoCAD and generation of Hook Up Sketches using SPI.
+ Preparation of Tray / Trench Layouts & Cable Routing Index and MCT Layouts. Responsible for 30%, 50% and 90% Model Reviews and resolution of tags with Client, Sub Contractors and Vendors.

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and visionary Lead Industrial Automation Engineer to design, implement, and manage advanced automation systems for manufacturing and industrial processes. This role is critical for driving efficiency, productivity, and innovation through robotics, PLCs, SCADA, and other control technologies. As a fully remote position, you will collaborate with global teams and clients to deliver state-of-the-art automation solutions from anywhere. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of automation principles, extensive experience with various control systems, and a passion for developing next-generation industrial solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of complex industrial automation solutions, including robotic workcells, automated assembly lines, and process control systems.
• Develop PLC ladder logic, HMI screens, and SCADA systems for new and existing automated machinery.
• Program and integrate industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB) for various manufacturing applications.
• Specify, select, and commission automation hardware and software components.
• Oversee the entire project lifecycle from concept and design through to installation, commissioning, and validation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum system performance.
• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and develop detailed project proposals.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams, including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including P&IDs, electrical schematics, and operational manuals.
• Mentor junior automation engineers and contribute to the team's technical growth.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in automation technology, industrial IoT, and Industry 4.0 concepts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in industrial automation engineering, with a focus on robotics and control systems.
• Expert proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens S7/TIA Portal, Rockwell Logix), HMI/SCADA development (e.g., Wonderware, Ignition), and industrial networking.
• Extensive experience programming and integrating various industrial robots.
• Strong understanding of electrical schematics, control panel design, and safety standards (e.g., ISO 13849).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and diagnostic skills.
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities, suited for a remote team environment.
• Experience with motion control, servo systems, and machine vision systems is highly desirable.
