Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost, and quality.
- Develop and implement process improvements using methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
- Design and document new production processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Utilize process simulation and modeling software to test and validate proposed changes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality assurance.
- Monitor the performance of implemented changes and ensure sustained improvements.
- Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and develop corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed reports on process analysis, recommendations, and project outcomes.
- Train production staff on new processes and best practices.
- Stay current with advancements in manufacturing technologies and process optimization techniques.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing optimization, or a similar role.
- Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred), and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Arena, AnyLogic) and data analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and production workflows.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and manage projects with minimal supervision.
- Experience in data analysis and statistical process control (SPC).
