Within our Database Administration team at Kyndryl, you'll be a master of managing and administering the backbone of our technological infrastructure. **Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
+ Minimum Experience: 12+ years in MySQL DBA and other database technologies.
+ Expertise in creating and managing schemas, tables, stored procedures, and functions.
+ Proficiency in analyzing query execution plans, creating indexes, and optimizing queries for performance and scalability.
+ Designing and managing backup/recovery plans and configuring replication for high availability.
+ Implementing user access controls, permissions, and data encryption.
+ Deep knowledge of MySQL Workbench, phpMyAdmin, and command-line tools.
+ Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex database issues. Ability to automate tasks using Bash or Python.
**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise**
+ Understanding of SQL Server Agent, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS.
+ Ability to write and understand T-SQL for querying, stored procedures, and functions.
+ Familiarity with ACID properties, transaction management, and concurrency control.
+ Experience with ETL tools and cross-database data movement.
+ Exposure to AWS RDS (MySQL, SQL Server) and Azure SQL offerings.
+ Scripting with Python or PowerShell for infrastructure and database task automation.
