Position Summary:
We are looking for an experienced occupational therapist to join our growing team of
professionals. You will be working for children with differential needs who have academic,
behavioural, cognitive, developmental, and physical issues; to help them improve the quality of
their lives. You will need to assess their deficits and work closely with them to enable them to
achieve goals in their performance areas. Duties will include conducting detailed assessment
of children, developing treatment plans, assessing work, providing home assignments and
holistic care to our students.
A Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy is required to be considered as a
candidate. To be a successful hire, you will need to be tech savvy, have up-to-date knowledge
of treatment practices of therapy programs for children with differential needs, especially those
that have Learning Disability, ADD/HD and / or children with Autism Spectrum Disorders
Roles and Responsibilities:
●Occupational Therapy Assessment: Assess students’ developmental milestones and
arrive at current functional levels
●Create Individualised Therapy Plans (ITP): Collaborate with other occupational
therapists and remedial educators of the team for smooth generation of plans and other
supportive care.
●Online Sessions: Conduct one-on-one as well as group online occupational therapy
sessions for children with learning disability, ADD/HD and high performing children on
the spectrum.
●Adapt materials and equipment suited to students’ needs
●Monitor Progress: Keep track of students’ progress
●Observe Behaviour: Observe children’s behavioural patterns and coordinate
appropriate interventions
●Parent Meetings: Periodically inform parents about their children’s performance and
potential issues.
●Team Player: Coordinate and work across all SME teams to ensure child success.
Educational and Experience Requirements:
●0-3 years of experience.
●Prior corporate experience can be beneficial.
●Good knowledge of current occupational therapy practices, topics and methodologies
in order to provide the best treatment plan to the students
●Experience working with children with a wide range of disabilities
●Ability to maintain documentation and ITPs
●Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
●Bachelors or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
●Tech savvy and can adapt easily to evolving technologies
●Proficiency in English Language
●Proficient with MS Office
