About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and empathetic Community Manager to join our team in Bangalore. In this role, you will play a key part in building and nurturing strong communities of parents , fostering long-term relationships, and ensuring a positive experience that contributes to student retention and growth .
You'll act as a bridge between our institution and the parent community — ensuring transparency, trust, and engagement at every step. This role demands proactive communication, thoughtful engagement strategies, and a deep understanding of family and student needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Community Building:
- Develop and execute strategies to build, strengthen, and actively manage parent communities to foster trust and loyalty.
- Engagement & Relationship Management:
- Organize and host regular interactions, workshops, and feedback forums with parents to address concerns, share updates, and promote collaboration.
- Student Retention:
- Collaborate with academic and support teams to identify retention risks and implement proactive solutions to ensure a strong and stable student pool.
- Onboarding & Orientation:
- Support new parent onboarding and orientation sessions to ensure a smooth transition and a positive first impression.
- Feedback & Insights:
- Gather, analyze, and present insights from the community to help improve the overall student and parent experience.
- Event Coordination:
- Plan and execute community events (both academic and extracurricular) that encourage participation and connection.
- Crisis Management:
- Address parent concerns or escalations with empathy, tact, and prompt resolution to maintain trust.
What We&aposre Looking For:
- 2–5 years of experience in community management, customer relations, parent engagement, or a similar people-facing role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathetic, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong organizational and event-planning abilities.
- Prior experience in education, ed-tech, or a parent-facing ecosystem is preferred.

Wurli prides itself on delivering a range of health and wellbeing services to the community in a style and manner that makes clients feel welcome and comfortable. Services include acute and general care, chronic disease, men’s health, alcohol and other drugs, social and emotional wellbeing and client support services.
Wurli Wurlinjang Health Service is currently seeking an individual, preferably with an LR drivers licence to join our patient services team in the position Community Liaison / Transport Officer.
The Community Liaison / Transport Officer position is a pivotal role in the delivery of health and wellbeing services in a range of programs at Wurli and provides a professional linkage between Wurli, individuals, families and communities to establish and maintain positive relationships. The role is required to deliver culturally appropriate support and transport service for identified clients within the Katherine and surrounding communities in accordance with the relevant program / service outcomes and act as a role model for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people by modelling appropriate healthy lifestyle behaviours within a harm minimisation and reduction framework.
Key duties of the role include:
- Provide client liaison services between Wurli and clinic / program ensuring timely delivery of client appointment letters and other associated information from Wurli
- In a culturally sensitive manner, and where required, communicate the purpose of the correspondence, pending appointment to ensure the client understands the purpose of their visit
- Provide transport services (pick up and drop off) to Wurli clinics /program areas, hospital, government services and other localities as required and /or directed
- Liaise regularly with the patient services team to ensure priorities of service are met and clients located as needed
- Drive vehicles in a safe and appropriate manner ensuring the safety of clients and adherence to the road rules.
- Complete daily vehicle pre-start inspection checklists
- Maintain vehicles to a clean and operationally safe standard
- Report vehicle maintenance concerns promptly
- Manage client’s behaviour during transport in accordance with the safety and duty of care standards
Prerequisites for the position include:
- Current National Police Certificate (not more than 3 months old)
- Current Northern Territory Light Rigid (LR) Driver’s Licence
- Current Working with Children’s Clearance (Ochre Card)
- COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate
