About the Role
As Manager – Strategic Partnerships & VAS at Rivexa, you will own the strategy, identification, negotiation, and management of partnerships that enhance our value-added service offerings. You will spearhead alliances with government and industry bodies, trade associations (domestic and international), and key service providers across sectors like logistics, payments, financing, design, quality assessment, customs, and factory inspections.
This is a high-impact, individual contributor role with potential to build and lead a team as Rivexa scales. Success in this position will directly contribute to our mission of transforming sourcing and procurement experiences for global buyers.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and build a robust pipeline of partnership opportunities that align with Rivexa’s strategic growth objectives.
- Drive strategic alliances with government bodies, industry associations, and trade organizations in India and abroad.
- Lead end-to-end assessment, negotiation, and finalization of partnership agreements, ensuring they deliver tangible value and mutual benefit.
- Engage and cultivate relationships with senior executives and key stakeholders across targeted companies.
- Define, negotiate, and formalize SLAs, SOPs, and MSAs with partners, ensuring alignment with operational and business objectives.
- Oversee seamless technology integrations with partners in collaboration with internal tech teams.
- Maintain tight operational control by monitoring partner KPIs and ensuring adherence to agreed SLAs; proactively resolve escalations or issues.
- Conduct in-depth research to identify emerging opportunities for partnerships in areas including payments, logistics, financing, and related services.
- Create compelling pitch decks and partnership proposals; define and execute joint go-to-market plans with partners.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (product, marketing, finance) to integrate and activate value-added services.
- Manage and grow relationships with payment gateways, processors, and other key third-party providers; ensure regulatory compliance and resolve disputes as required.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies in the VAS and payments ecosystem to keep Rivexa ahead of the curve.
- Drive VAS revenue growth by activating and optimizing partnerships, working closely with category managers to maximize commercial outcomes.
- Maintain detailed records of partnerships, agreements, performance metrics, market intelligence, and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in management or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or a similar role, preferably in the e-commerce, fintech, or logistics sectors.
- Proven track record of building partnerships from the ground up, not just managing existing relationships.
- Strong knowledge of payment systems, online payment gateways, processing workflows, and different payment models.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Experience working in or scaling hyper-growth organizations.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

- Developing engaging content for LinkedIn, online campaigns, and more.
- We’re Looking For Someone Who Holds a postgraduate degree (MBA preferred).
