2. Technical understanding of subject matter and depth to which the candidate goes for elaborating the invention in the specification is the key evaluation parameter. The Candidate should be from a premium technical Institute with extremely strong academic background.

• Identifying patentable inventions by working closely with researchers and engineers.

• Law degree and admission to the Bar.

• Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Chemical Engineering or a related scientific field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in patent law, with a focus on patent prosecution and strategy.
• Proven experience in drafting and prosecuting patents, preferably in the chemical sector.
• Strong understanding of patentability requirements and prior art searching.
• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.
• Proficiency in patent search databases and legal research tools.
• Experience with patent portfolio management and international filings is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical information into clear legal documents.
• A proactive and strategic mindset towards intellectual property protection.
