Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead payroll processes on the Workday product for United States; ensure on-time payment to employees and statutory agencies.
  • Monitor and implement statutory updates for regulations relating to time tracking, leave and absence, tax and payroll for the US.
  • Coordinate with ADP to ensure timely and accurate remittance of federal, state and local payroll taxes.
  • Reconcile periodic and quarterly tax actuals in Workday v. remittance through ADP, including auditing company and employee level data.

  • Identify gaps in configuration and process; work with IT and team to correct as necessary.
  • Assist with quarter end and year-end tax and accounting activities.

  • Test new configuration and bug fixes in the Workday tenant for US payroll.

About You

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in payroll processing at a high-growth company.
  • 1+ years of previous experience processing payroll using Workday.
  • Experience with multi state payroll processing, taxation and compliance.

Other Qualifications:

  • BS degree in HR, Finance, Accounting; work experience considered in lieu of degree.
  • CPP preferred.
  • Ability to understand system functionality and communicate requirements.

JOB SUMMARY

The HR and Payroll Services Associate provides day-to-day running of payroll processes, supported by the Payroll Manager, as well as undertaking various other administrative responsibilities for the HRSS function. PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
