Job Description

As a Payroll and Compliance Manager, you will lead payroll operations and statutory compliance for our manufacturing facility in India. You will ensure accurate payroll processing across salaried, hourly, and contract employees while maintaining full compliance with Indian labour laws and corporate governance standards.
**What You Will Do**
+ You will manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accurate calculation of wages, deductions, bonuses, and statutory contributions (PF, ESI, Gratuity).
+ You will coordinate with HR and finance teams for payroll inputs, approvals, and disbursements.
+ You will maintain payroll records and generate reports for audits and internal reviews.
+ You will ensure compliance with SOX and internal control requirements.
+ You will oversee statutory compliance with central and state labour laws, including the Factories Act, Payment of Wages Act, EPF Act, ESI Act, and the new labour codes.
+ You will manage contractor documentation and compliance under the Contract Labour Act, conducting audits and coordinating with security and admin teams.
+ You will prepare for internal, external, and statutory audits, identify compliance risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
+ You will lead PF Trust operations, including fund investments and employee guidance on PF-related matters.
**What You Bring**
+ You have 10+ years of experience in payroll and compliance within a manufacturing setup.
+ You have strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory frameworks.
+ You are proficient in payroll software (SAP, ADP, or similar) and MS Excel.
+ You are detail-oriented, analytical, and able to manage confidential data with integrity.
