We are looking for a Senior Observability Engineer with strong expertise in AWS (EC2, EKS, Lambda), Synthetic Monitoring, and Dynatrace to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building scalable observability platforms, driving adoption of APM tooling, and embedding synthetic monitoring into modern service architectures.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect scalable, secure, and resilient synthetic monitoring platforms across hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
- Lead Dynatrace APM adoption with standardized instrumentation and deployment models.
- Define onboarding strategies for cloud, hybrid, and edge telemetry sources with a focus on synthetic monitoring.
- Integrate observability tooling (preferred: Catchpoint, Dynatrace ) to deliver unified insights .
- Evaluate emerging technologies and develop custom synthetic monitoring solutions where needed.
- Contribute to open-source or internal observability tooling/standards for synthetic monitoring.
- Drive documentation, training, and cross-team knowledge sharing to strengthen monitoring practices.
- Collaborate with application teams to embed synthetic monitoring into new service architectures.
- Partner with security teams on compliance, threat detection, and governance related to monitoring.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5–7 years of hands-on experience with Dynatrace and Synthetic Monitoring .
- Strong expertise in AWS (EC2, EKS, Lambda) .
- Proven experience in designing and implementing observability solutions across cloud and hybrid environments .
- Familiarity with other monitoring/observability tools (Catchpoint, Prometheus, Grafana ) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and communication skills.
