About the Role

BOQ Group are hiring for a Manager Performance Reporting in our Group Finance Division. This is an important role reporting on key financial group results to the business and up to Exco.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Group Performance Management, this role is key to managing and communicating the financial result of BOQ Group. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in reporting, analysis, stakeholder management, planning, forecasting and expense management. The role will work closely with Finance Business Partners, Financial Control and other areas across the business to understand the group result, problem solve and ensure the accurate presentation of information to key stakeholders

About you

  • Degree/Master and professional accounting qualifications (CA/CPA)
  • Business and industry knowledge. Banking experience would be advantageous.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills in order to deliver timely and strategic insights to the leadership team including Exco.
  • Understanding of integration and consolidating business activities to optimise cost and margin. Product and distribution experience would be advantageous.
  • Ability to acts as a principal finance support, trusted advisor, and strategic consultant within the performance management team, whilst maintaining sound financial governance and accountability.
  • Monthly reporting experience, including analysis, planning, forecasting and expense management, acquisition and divestment experience, delivering key insights to lead and influence decision making
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage people and projects.

    **Description**
    You will be part of the middle office operations team providing performance calculation and attribution analysis for our clients in the region. As a Team leader, you will be responsible for ensuring that you and your team is producing and validating performance returns, risk and attribution reports. You will be responsible for reporting all the MIS for operation as well as for team management. You will also work closely with the onshore counterparts to establish global operating models and processes.
    **Key responsibilities include:**
    + Manage your team and ensure that all deliverables are completed as per the agreed SLA.
    + Identify training needs of your team members and provide it to the team members as per requirement.
    + Producing, reviewing and validating portfolio account performance calculations and performance reports associated with accounts, composites and managers
    + Creating customized reporting based on clients' requirements; maintain, produce and review client composites according to SLAs and GIPS standards
    + Participating in department projects and ensuring completion, as well as assist new clients on boarding and implementation processes
    + Provide scheduled/Ad-Hoc reports or MIS to Management as and when required.
    + Reviewing, updating and implementing new processes and procedures as required, to enhance operational controls
    + Interfacing with performance and index vendors
    + Experience in resolving data issues using Accounting systems and ability to understand the flow between accounting and performance systems.

    **Job Description**
    **Position Overview** : We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Performance Analyst with a strong focus on reporting and data visualization to join our dynamic team. This individual will be responsible for building insightful, data-driven reports and interactive dashboards using Tableau to support leadership in making informed business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in sales analysis, data manipulation, and reporting, with advanced expertise in Tableau for creating visually compelling and actionable insights.
    **Key Responsibilities**
    + Report & Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated Tableau dashboards and reports that provide meaningful insights into sales performance, trends, forecasts, and KPIs.
    + Data Analysis: Analyze sales data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities. Ensure data accuracy and consistency.
    + Collaboration with Leadership: Work closely with sales leadership and other cross-functional teams to understand reporting requirements and deliver tailored analytical solutions.
    + Sales Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key sales metrics (e.g., revenue, pipeline, win rates, conversion rates, etc.), and provide actionable recommendations based on the data.
    + Data Extraction & Transformation: Use Tableau Prep, SQL, or other ETL tools to extract, clean, and transform data from different databases and systems into a usable format for analysis.
    + Forecasting & Trend Analysis: Collaborate with the sales and finance teams to provide forecast reports, pipeline analysis, and trend identification.
    + Ad-Hoc Reporting: Respond to ad-hoc reporting requests and provide quick turnaround for leadership, offering insights and data-driven recommendations.
    + Quality Assurance: Continuously monitor data quality, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and reliability of reports and dashboards.
    + Training & Support: Provide training and ongoing support to users of Tableau dashboards, ensuring they can effectively interpret and act on the data
    **Qualification**
    + Experience:2-5 years of experience as a Sales Analyst, Data Analyst, or Business Intelligence Analyst, with a focus on sales performance metrics and reporting.
    + Technical Skills:
    + AdvancedproficiencyinTableaufor building complex dashboards and reports.
    + Strong knowledge ofSQLfor data querying and extraction from relational databases.
    + Experience withTableau Prepor other ETL tools for data transformation.
    + Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g.,Salesforce) and othersales-related systems.
    + Analytical Abilities:Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights for leadership.
    + Attention to Detail:High attention to detail with the ability to work with large datasets and ensure data accuracy.
    + Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
    + Problem Solving:Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to approach challenges creatively and think critically about data solutions.Preferred Qualifications:
    + Experience working withSalesforceor other CRM tools for sales data extraction.
    + Familiarity with advanced Tableau features (e.g., calculated fields, LOD expressions, table calculations).
    + Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and experience working with cloud data platformsEducation:
