We are looking for a Research Assistant to support product, market, and technical research. You will help gather and analyze information, run structured evaluations, and produce concise briefs that inform product roadmaps, GTM strategy, and client solutions.
Role Overview
As a Research Assistant, you will execute end-to-end research tasks across literature reviews, competitive analysis, dataset preparation, and model evaluation support. You will work closely with product managers, data scientists, solution consultants, and marketing to convert raw findings into clear insights and decision-ready summaries.
Key Responsibilities
Research Planning and Execution
- Translate problem statements into research questions, hypotheses, and deliverables.
- Conduct literature reviews across academic papers, standards, and industry reports.
- Map competitors and adjacent solutions with feature matrices and benchmarks.
Data and Analysis
- Collect and clean data from trusted sources and public datasets.
- Run structured analyses in spreadsheets or Python or SQL to validate hypotheses.
- Assist in evaluation runs for models or prompts or extraction pipelines and summarize results.
Documentation and Communication
- Produce research briefs, one-pagers, and slide summaries with citations.
- Maintain research logs, assumptions, and references for auditability.
- Create visuals such as tables, simple charts, and process diagrams to explain findings.
Knowledge Management and Compliance
- Curate a searchable knowledge base of papers, links, and internal notes.
- Track source provenance, licensing, and usage restrictions.
- Follow privacy, security, and ethical guidelines for data handling.
Product and GTM Support
- Analyze user pain points, workflows, and industry regulations in BFSI.
- Support pricing and TCO or ROI models with assumptions and sensitivity checks.
- Prepare inputs for thought leadership, case studies, and collateral.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- 2+ years of experience in research, analytics, consulting, or a related role.
- Strong skills in secondary research, note-taking, and citation management.

- Working knowledge of Python or SQL for basic data wrangling is a plus.
