Job Description
Our client is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Lead Pediatric Physical Therapist to join their renowned healthcare facility. This on-site role is essential for providing exceptional therapeutic services to children with a wide range of developmental, neurological, and musculoskeletal conditions. As the Lead Therapist, you will not only provide direct patient care but also supervise junior therapists, develop treatment plans, and contribute to the overall enhancement of the pediatric rehabilitation program.

- Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for pediatric patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's specific needs and goals.
- Provide direct physical therapy interventions, including exercises, manual therapy, and adaptive equipment training.
- Supervise and mentor junior physical therapists, providing guidance and feedback on clinical practice.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach.
- Educate parents and caregivers on home exercise programs and strategies to support their child's progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in pediatric physical therapy through continuing education and professional development.
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and departmental initiatives.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of clinic protocols and quality improvement efforts.
- Ensure a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for pediatric patients.
- Lead in the assessment and recommendation of assistive devices and adaptive equipment.
- Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in pediatric physical therapy, with demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
- In-depth knowledge of child development and common pediatric conditions requiring physical therapy.
- Proficiency in a variety of pediatric therapeutic techniques and modalities.
- Excellent clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and empathy skills for working with children and their families.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Certification in a pediatric specialty (e.g., CSPT) is a significant advantage.
