Our organization, a leading player in the refining industry, operates a standalone refinery unit in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh. We are part of a prominent conglomerate known for its extensive business interests across various sectors.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Plant Head to oversee our operations in Kakinada. This critical leadership role requires extensive experience in managing manufacturing plants within industries such as continuous processing, including but not limited to food, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and more.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: Engineering degree (Mechanical/Chemical) is essential. An MBA from a reputable institution is preferred.
- Experience: You should have a minimum of 20-25 years of overall experience, including 3-5 years in a managerial role overseeing a manufacturing plant with substantial turnover and operational complexities.
- Age: Ideally between 42 to 48 years, with a maximum age limit of 50 years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute long-term vision and business strategies.
- Create and monitor business plans to achieve operational goals.
- Operational Management:
- Ensure seamless coordination between departments for optimal performance.
- Drive continuous improvement in product quality and operational efficiency.
- Compliance and External Relations:
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and manage relationships with local authorities.
- Maintain effective communication with corporate stakeholders, industry associations, and key customers.
- Human Resources and Industrial Relations:
- Implement HR policies and practices to foster a positive work environment.
- Manage labor relations and promote a culture of safety and productivity.
Key Interactions:
- Collaborate closely with corporate offices, regulatory bodies, growers associations, and major clients.
Reporting:
- Reports to: Business Head
Language Skills:
- Proficiency in Telugu is advantageous due to the local context.
