Responsibilities

• Build relationships with complete hierarchy of KN state to include CM office ,Forest department with more focus on State energy department
• To include minister ,PS/ACS energy, JS, directors and below & complete civil administration across KN in general with special focus on districts where own projects are being executed like Mangalore,Udupi etc.
• Be able to support PDs/PHs for close coordination with State civil administration
• Coordinate with State advisors to build synergy of work

Essential

12-16 yrs of total experience , out of which min 4-5 yrs of experience in power / Transmission/ Renewable sector/ Infrastructure/ Oil and Gas or similar sector.

External focus/ experience with govt bodies, industry, forums etc.

Key relationships at government bodies and Policy developments related to Power sector

Role Overview:

Palladium is seeking a dynamic and experienced Public Policy Expert to support apex housing authority of Maharashtra in designing, implementing, and evaluating housing-related policy reforms, including rental housing governance, legislative amendments, and stakeholder engagement. The expert will play a key role in shaping inclusive, sustainable, and data-driven housing strategies for Maharashtra.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead policy research and drafting for policies related housing legislation.
• Develop frameworks for rental housing governance, including digital platforms, grievance redressal, and eviction protocols.
• Prepare policy briefs, consultation papers, and presentations for senior decision-makers.
• Support implementation of the MMR Growth Hub strategy, focusing on housing, inclusivity, and sustainability.
• Analyse legal and regulatory overlaps and recommend harmonisation strategies.
• Facilitate stakeholder consultations, workshops, and public engagement processes.
• Act as the primary interface between Palladium and government stakeholders, ensuring that project objectives are aligned with client priorities, policy frameworks, and institutional mandates.
• Navigate administrative processes, build consensus across departments, and manage reporting, timelines, and compliance. Facilitate high-level meetings, workshops, and inter-agency coordination to support seamless execution.
• Monitor policy impact and recommend course corrections based on feedback and data.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in urban planning / management, Public Policy, Governance, and Social Sciences or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in public policy, preferably in housing, urban development, or governance.
• Experience working with government agencies, multilateral institutions, or consulting firms.
• Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with digital governance tools and data-driven policy design is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Legal drafting and legislative analysis.
• Stakeholder engagement and consensus building.
• Policy impact assessment and monitoring.

Who We’re Looking For:

1. A graduate or postgraduate degree in Public Policy, Law, Political Science, Economics, or a related discipline.
2. 4– 8  years of experience in public policy, government relations, corporate affairs, or advocacy roles.
3. Demonstrated ability to lead  a  teas and manage multiple client engagements with accountability.
4. Exceptional research, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex policy issues into clear, actionable insights.
5. Strong writing and presentation skills suited for stakeholder engagement and executive communication.
6. Prior experience or a keen interest in education, skilling, or social impact sectors will be a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Define a long-term content strategy and roadmap that prioritizes categories relevant and catering to Bharat: infotainment, agriculture, health, news, utility and sports
• Curate and schedule content that is fresh, relevant and localized to user needs, ensuring daily stickiness and engagement
• Identify and onboard regional publishers, NGOs and content creators to bring authentic, hyperlocal stories and insights. Build strong relationships to secure steady content supply.

Education

· Prior experience in vernacular media, regional OTT, digital content platforms or Bharat-first consumer platforms

· Strong track record in building and scaling content ecosystems for rural/vernacular markets

· Proven experience in partnerships, licensing and managing diverse content portfolios.

Creative and Operating Skills

· Sharp editorial judgment with ability to identify content that engages and informs Bharat

· Data-driven mindset: ability to use analytics to refine strategy

· Excellent project management skills — able to deliver quality content at scale and on time.

· Creative ideation for new formats and engagement models (e.g., voice-based, utility content).
