Role & responsibilities
Sales Reporting
- Monitor actual performance against forecasts and budgets and provide variance analysis and explanations.
- Compare the forecast/Budget with Pipeline and report abnormalities in Projections from sales.
- Collaborate with sales and finance teams to develop accurate sales forecasts and budgets based on market trends, historical data, and business objectives.
- Responsible to make proposal for yearly price list and propose price increase in line with increase in product cost and report any major cost increase/decrease for Westrup Machines / Spare parts.
Production Controlling:
- Work closely with operations and production teams to monitor and control production costs, optimize resource utilization, and ensure efficient operations.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining quality standards.
- Analyze Machine cost against BOM and report variance in Material and Labor cost.
- Prepare production KPIs and prepare trend analysis and inputs for improvement in Productivity and Efficiency.
Supply Chain Analytics:
- Manage financial aspects of Project Business, including Revenue recognition, Project Cost completion and ensuring adherence to project timelines and objectives to meet the desired Revenue for Project business.

Project Controlling:
- Prepare accurate and timely inputs for financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to support decision-making and financial analysis

Cash Forecasting and Budgeting:
- Develop cash flow forecasts to support liquidity management and ensure adequate funding for operations and investments to stakeholders.
Fixed Cost Controlling:
- Monitor and control fixed costs to ensure alignment with budgetary targets and business objectives and report major deviations monthly.
- Identify opportunities for cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
Financial controllership
- Review and manage GL and posting
- Prepare daily MIS reports
- Review and approve GST monthly returns
- SAP automation in relation to MIS reports
- Assist in ALL company secretarial work to Company Secretary
- Assist in Legal works and necessary documents
- Prepare Annual reports, filing and forms with MCA
- Involve in SOP and system implementation
- Prepare Financials as per IndAS
- Handle auditor both internal and statutory.
Preferred candidate profile for contollership position
- 4-6 years of experience in Plant operations and site domain
- Expertise in Finance and comfortable with numbers
- Good working knowledge on S4 HANA (SAP)
- Strong Excel skills, including advanced features and macros.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work on-site and commit to full-time hours
- Manage a team of 10 members
- Hands on experience in GST and Income tax
Preferred candidate profile for FP&A position
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis, business controlling, or related roles
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or professional certification (e.g., CMA) preferred
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and ERP systems (Westrup uses IFS Application )
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and trends.
- Strong Excel skills, including advanced features and macros.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
