**Key Responsibilities**
+ Ensure shop floor crew are adequately trained on all Safety & Quality requirements on the assigned value streams.
+ Maintain 100% compliance to EHS, Quality, and Process standards.

+ Maintain updated skill matrices and on-the-job training documents for all permanent and contract employees.
+ Manage operator leave, performance, and updates in Workday.
+ Ensure closure of internal NCs, submission of 8D reports for customer complaints, and closure of LPA audit action points.
+ Accountable for EHS elements, including updating See & Act in the system and implementing safety reviews.
**Qualifications & Experience**
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
- Alternatively, a degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5-8 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Proven experience in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement.
- Familiarity with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and EHS compliance.
- Experience with Daily Production Reporting (DPR), inventory reconciliation, and cross-functional collaboration.
**Technical & Functional Skills**
+ Proficient in cycle time management, yield improvement, and root cause analysis.
+ Strong knowledge of 5S implementation, LPA audits, and customer complaint handling.
+ Experience with Workday or similar HR systems for performance and leave management.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Manpower Management
- Allocate work, supervise team members, and send daily work reports via email.
- Plan and coordinate outdoor deputation by collecting team reports and arranging required resources.
- Monitor attendance and leaves of shopfloor staff.
- Inspect fabricated and machined components.
- Maintain 5S and general housekeeping on the shopfloor.
- Coordinate with the System Department for manpower in machine wiring.
- Support setup and trials for Robot/Equipment demos.
2. Material Handling
- Review mechanical drawings with the Design team to understand material requirements and assembly processes.
- Handle drawing-related queries and monitor the SOBOM (Shopfloor Bill of Materials).
- Refer to analytics reports (e.g., Rpt Reservation, Purchase Received) and coordinate with the Purchase team for shortfall materials.
- Receive material from stores through Transfer Orders and ensure proper rack labeling.
- Coordinate with Purchase/Vendors for machined or fabricated items.
- Manage return of excess material to stores.
- Provide feedback on Vision consumables needed on the shopfloor that are not listed in the SOBOM.
- Collaborate with the Design team for in-house manufactured parts and with Stores/Audit for Inventory Adjustment (Inv Adj) to reissue material for the project.
3. Miscellaneous Duties
- Ensure 5S implementation and cleanliness on the shopfloor.
- Update project whiteboards and communicate project status.
- Oversee scrap segregation and proper disposal behind the stores.
