The Power Generation Analyst will support a broad range of studies and services to support power producers in making decisions backed by business and engineering analysis, such as condition assessments, asset due diligence and acquisition support, cost and performance benchmarking, feasibility studies, project development support including technology evaluations and site selection, asset management, decommissioning/demolition studies, and other power generation studies.
**Responsibilities:**
The Analyst will assist the project managers and lead aspects of project execution including analysis and engineering, schedule and deliverables, and quality management. The Analyst will support and lead both on-the-job and classroom training efforts for less experienced team members.
Assist project managers in the execution of projects. Lead aspects of project execution including data collection; engineering, financial, and technical analysis; maintain project schedule; develop key project deliverables including analysis, reports, and presentations; support the project manager in quality control of deliverables; analyze and communicate project status, risks, schedule, to project managers; assist in leading multi-discipline teams of engineers and analysts; plan, organize, and communicate project personnel needs to project and department management.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelors in mechanical engineering or Master/P.G.D.C. with relevant subjects from the accredited program.
+ 0-2 years of related experience associated with electric utility operations, planning, or consulting.
+ Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment.
+ Proven ability to lead, educate, and train a team of engineers and analysts regarding power generation studies.
+ Ability to independently solve difficult problems that require adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.
+ Excellent written and oral communications skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, including identification of critical path items to ensure deliverable deadlines are met.
+ Ability to focus on the big picture to effectively and efficiently provide services that meet client needs, while also having the ability to identify and analyze details that are critical to project outcomes.
+ Willingness to learn new service offerings as client needs and the market requires changes to the service offerings provided by our group.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT).
**Good to have Skills:**
+ Project experience with fossil generation such as project development and site selection, asset due diligence and acquisition support, independent engineering services, condition assessments, cost and performance benchmarking, asset management, operations, maintenance, and engineering management of fossil generation.
+ Knowledge of electric power generation facility types and power system operations.
+ Knowledge of standard engineering, construction, and operation techniques, principles, and procedures associated with power generation facilities, specifically fossil generation.
+ Knowledge of thermal performance modeling software like EBSILON.

We are looking for a talented Sales Administrator - Power Generation to join our team! In this role you will report into the PMO Manager and support the local region whist aligned to the entire APAC process and consistent supply model.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will make an impact in the following ways:
Support the sales organisation and facilitate processes to deliver the sale and financial or inventory allocation for the sale.
Respond both to incoming electronic customer enquiries (e.g. emails, forms) and to customer calls, and escalate as needed.
Actively supports all branch personnel in the sale of products to retail customers, where the task is well documented and repetitive.
Compile budgetary quotes for simple jobs by gathering technical data, customer presentations, lead time and others for customer facing sales force.
Schedule customer visits and events, gets involved in actual execution and preparation. Receives and processes orders, issues order acknowledgements, invoices and shipping notices for simple jobs.
Compile and communicate order status, inventory status and other associated information to customer facing sales force.
Assists in resolving of customer issues (including shipment and after sale).
Compiles, conducts analyses and reports inventory/stock levels.
Prepare finance forecast and accumulation of the project financial data; for presentation to the leadership and finance departments.
Coordinate project meetings; including scheduling, preparing agendas, and taking minutes -finding times the schedules for meetings and making bookings.
Maintain project documentation and records, including project plans, status reports, and change requests -Interim document support until further resources can be made available (collation and submissions)

Job Description
Burns & McDonnell India (BMI) Power Division is looking for a well-rounded and driven Electrical Power Systems Engineer in the Mumbai Office. The Power Division focuses on power generating facilities which offer a wide range of design and project execution experiences. Designs include the electrical interconnect to the bulk power grid and all associated power generating facility auxiliary power equipment. Equipment includes rotating machines, such as generators and motors, large power transformers, generator circuit breakers, isolated phase bus duct, non-segregated phase bus duct, switchgear, motor control centers, small power transformers, and variable frequency drives. The wide range of projects provide opportunities on both multi-discipline and electrical only projects.
Multi-disciplined power generation projects require engineers to work in a diverse project team environment and exhibit the ability to develop consensus in identifying the optimum solution to complex problems. These complex assignments require the application of advanced techniques, resulting in the development of new or improved processes, equipment and/or technological methods. Position will require extensive interface with equipment suppliers/vendors, and with Burns & McDonnell project managers, other engineering disciplines, modelers, designers, and detailers locally in the Mumbai office as well as remotely in various offices in the United States.
For a Mid Level Electrical Power Systems Engineer, following are some specific duties & responsibilities:
1. Coordinating project design assignments with client and within teams
2. Electrical system Power Systems modeling including grounding, load flow, short-circuit, and arc-flash analysis, using software like ETAP, SKM, Easypower, CDEGS, WinIGS etc
3. Protective relay setting development, calculation, and coordination studies, relay logics for microprocessor based relays
4. Developing reports and recommendations based on study results
5. Developing scope of work, conceptual design, and execution plans
6. Preparing engineering cost and man-hour estimates and schedules;
7. Good working knowledge of electrical deliverables like one-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, schematics, interconnection drawings, equipment layouts, cable schedules, panel schedules, power, grounding layouts;
8. Provide leadership, guidance, instruction, and mentorship to less experienced staff members;
9. Regularly meeting and corresponding with clients or outside personnel.
10. Travel to the United States as required and requested to support assignments on projects and overall office needs
**Qualifications**
Work experience which demonstrates progressive design and project management responsibilities. Has experience with design scope development, budget preparation and project execution meeting schedule requirements and maintaining established budgets. This position requires an individual capable of applying intensive and diversified knowledge of principles and practices to broad areas of assignments. Must be capable of interpreting and developing solutions to complex problems.
+ Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from accredited program.
+ Minimum 6-10 years of related experience.
+ Experience working on Power Systems Studies for either Industrial Facilities (Petrochemical plants, Fossil Fuel Power Generation Facilities, Mining & Metals, Other Heavy Industries), Renewable Facilities (Solar, Wind, BESS etc) shall be preferred.
+ Experience of executing projects based on ANSI/NEMA, NFPA, NERC, IEEE, CSA and other international codes and standards;
+ Software experience utilizing SKM Power Tools, ETAP, CDEGS or similar software is preferred.
+ Experience leading team for execution of small to mid size Electrical Power System Study projects for Industrial, petrochemical or power plant type projects.
+ Field construction and commissioning experience is preferred.
+ Excellent written & verbal communications as well as strong analytical & problem solving skills are required.
+ Previous consulting engineering experience preferred.
