As a Practice Manager, you are engaged at the account level in providing visibility, service reviews and reporting through all phases of the implementation lifecycle. You will work hand-in-hand with senior stakeholders on opportunities to improve our service and delivery. You will work across customer organizations and multiple Snowflake teams to ensure customers’ applications are well designed and scale to the needs of their business. Success is defined by the PMs ability to develop a quality service strategy per customer, capture and report on key metrics, identify upsell opportunities and quickly become the client’s trusted advisor.

AS A PRACTICE MANAGER AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:

  • Be responsible for both services sales enablement/execution and services delivery success for your accounts, focus on both quarterly bookings targets (for Professional Services & Training) and utilization targets

  • Own the services delivery roadmap (proposals, closing services opportunities and delivery)

  • Develop scope and associated SOWs for customer services engagements

  • Own, manage and communicate the operational relationship with assigned clients

  • Manage key client projects by communicating effectively with project team members, management and project stakeholders on status, issues, risks, and project goals and objectives

  • Lead internal and client meetings with thorough documentation and rigorous follow-up

  • Manage client and project documentation, communications, meetings and required meeting follow-ups

  • Track metrics around infrastructure performance and service requests

  • Continually seek to improve

  • Prepare and present service reports to clients

  • Create, implement and track relationship roadmaps

  • Drive alignment with executive sponsors and/or customer stakeholders

  • Collaborate with other delivery partners (SIs, GSIs, other PS orgs, etc) in support of project delivery

  • Serve as the initial point of escalation for customer and project team

  • Own project outcomes and manage project financials (revenue forecasting and expense management)

  • Build strong cross-functional relationships within Snowflake GTM teams (legal, deal desk, account teams, sales, PS&T leadership - including workload services - and partner team)

  • Help create and execute on the overall vision for service delivery and client satisfaction

  • Determine areas for process improvements within both the client and Snowflake

  • Work with key stakeholders to implement and document

  • OUR IDEAL PRACTICE MANAGER WILL HAVE:

  • 8+ years of experience in a Services Delivery role (or similar capacity) dealing with complex, technical implementation projects

  • Direct experience in the Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence and/or Cloud field

  • Proven ability to communicate and translate effectively across multiple groups from design and engineering to marketing, advertising, and business development

  • Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

    Role & responsibilities


    • Drive and manage the technology & product roadmap planning and processes.
    • Constantly lookout for innovation and lead strategic planning and drive development initiatives.
    • Accountable for developing applications, solutions, frameworks / tools / accelerators with superior technical mastery in Warehouse Management products / tools.
    • Conceptualize, analyse, create blueprint for business transformations and present solutions.
    • Proactively research, evaluate, prototype and recommend right technology platforms & solutions to various clients to achieve business goals.
    • Attend conferences to be up to date of technology standards and emerging technologies trends.
    • Conduct Webinars showcasing technology capabilities.
    • Setup COE Warehouse Management with standards, industry proven best practices and development methodologies.
    • Contribute to Whitepapers, Blogs and encourage team members to participate.
    • Lead the Presales activities from offshore for the new opportunities & proposals working with various internal stakeholders (Sales, Account & Delivery anchors)
    • Manage multiple technology teams.
    • Mentor the next level technology leaders of the practice.
    • Work with HR and hiring teams to ensure timely fulfilment of technical resource needs.


    Preferred candidate profile


    • 15 + years of experience with good hands-on in Warehouse Management System (Manhattan / Blue Yonder / Korber / Microsoft Dynamics 365).
    • Good understanding of Supply Chain Management domain.
    • Experience in understanding requirements and translate into effort estimates for the implementation of solutions.
    • Experience in customizations and Integrations with Warehouse Management Systems.
    • Proficiency in architecting large scale real-time, complex distributed systems, modelling solutions.
    • Should have creative problem - solving skills related to technical issues.
    • Flexible to manage changing technical goals and demands.
    • Experience with design of modern, scalable technology platforms & services.
    • Experience in Agile development process.
    • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.
    • Have proven ability to establish rapport, credibility , and influence others to drive results across the organization.
    • Experience in market research & analysis, feasibility assessments, prototyping to wireframes of technologies.
    • Proven experience in working in matrix organizations with varying technology practices.
    • Experience in managing 50+ technical resources.
    • Excellent communication skills along with experience in managing and motivating high performance teams and individuals.
    • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about technical challenges and provide optimum solutions.
    • Very strong logical thinking capabilities and analytical skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
