14. Facilitate schools’ transition to digital teaching and learning environment.
15. Facilitate development of Resources Centers in the schools for creation and safe storage and display of teaching and learning resources (physical labs and e-resources).
16. Establishes an inventory of resources (online, manipulative, worksheets, projects, etc.) to facilitate and share them with schools and ensures their efficient management.
17. Improve the quality of textbooks and reference resources for students and teachers, including library resources and ensure their effective utilization
18. Ensure compliance of education board (CBSE) academic requirements
19. Observe classes wherever needed and give feedback and suggestions for improvement.
21. Publish periodicals and journals involving articles, essays, contributions from school staff.
22. On the basis of board results, make comparative analysis with leading schools of the country. Further, support them in developing the necessary action plans for improvements.
23. Keep exploring the top schools of India and abroad and incorporate the feasible best practices in DIS.
24. Advise the schools about academic and co-curricular programmes to be introduced as per the need of the school. Also, help them prepare guidelines for the effective implementation of these programmes.
25. Encourage schools to participate in national and international competitions/ Olympiads with an objective to make Schools “Center of excellence”.
26. Ensures that documents/circulars/ Reports pertaining to the academics section of the school are authentically created, distributed, taken cognizance and implemented by the school.
27. Establishes systems and maintains a record of completed annual academic planners, sample lesson plan documents, assessment strategies sent by schools to analyse Board results/ students’ academic performances.
29. Identify the Professional Development need of teachers in Schools, understand the ongoing processes of conducting Professional development for staff, keeps a record of schools’ professional development plans and Professional development initiatives taken, enlist the Professional development already conducted during previous and current academic session, provide information about opportunities available for professional development.
30. Supports the school in organising career exhibitions, career counselling sessions from class 8th onwards till the final year of the academic programme.
31. Supports schools to conduct parent information sessions to establish new academic initiatives.
32. Establishes systems to receive all relevant information received from the affiliated Boards.
33. Responds to requests for information (pedagogy, assessment, students’ performance analysis) from the Leadership Team
