As a Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for the software architecture across the Cargoes portfolio of products. The ideal candidate will have around 15 years of deep software expertise, would have worked in both startups and MNCs, would have built systems from the ground up, would have managed the architecture of a large portfolio of individual teams and services.

The Opportunity

The Principal Architect, with experience working with GoLang, Java, Docker/Kubernetes and AWS, will be an integral member of our engineering team, responsible for our platform architecture.
Role And Responsibilities
- Architect and design solutions in collaboration with product and engineering leadership
- Hands-on software Engineer working in the following environment: Go, Java, Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, AWS, React, Javascript and iOS and Android mobile applications.
- Track record with integrating latest AI technologies (e.g. LLMs) to greatly enhance end to end customer experience.
- Responsible for developing industry-leading applications transforming the healthcare industry and consumers use.
- Work with our mobile and front-end teams to build new functionality in our consumer and clinician-facing applications.
- Create and maintain tools used by internal teams for customer service, monitoring, and R&D.
- Maintain and continuously improve our backend infrastructure to remedy technical limitations before they become an issue.
- Actively participate in development along with team members for as much as 50% of your time, creating modules & systems that can then be treated as a working reflection of best practices.
- Driving code reviews, design reviews, and architecture discussions.
