**The Principal Compliance Specialist is primarily responsible for the execution of Ethics and Compliance investigations within the Office of Integrity, Privacy and Compliance (OPIC). This role conducts investigations, including interviews, reviewing and analyzing documents, and will ensure timely, thorough, and efficient investigation of ethics and compliance concerns primarily throughout Asia Region-Led Markets and Japan, Australia & New Zealand. This role requires a level of regular engagement with business and operating units, regional ethics and compliance partners, and other relevant stakeholders enterprise-wide to effectively conduct investigations. In addition, this position requires a high level of collaboration with key stakeholders such as legal, compliance, audit, and employee relations to ensure personnel are consulted, as appropriate. This role is responsible for handling of complex and sensitive matters. Interaction with all levels of employees, including internal management, legal and compliance teams as required. **BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:**
**MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:**
**Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 9-12 years relevant experience in conducting compliance investigations in a regulated or similar setting;**
**SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED**
**Experience conducting compliance investigations of varied case-types, including: compliance violations, improper payments/kickbacks, financial statement fraud/accounting irregularities, conflicts of interest, collusion, FCPA violations and records falsification.**
**Experience managing large/varied case loads.**
**Ability to apply company policies and procedures in relation to complex investigations.**
**Experience conducting and managing investigations under legal privilege (at the direction of counsel).**

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sustainability
research, contribute to meaningful projects and develop a comprehensive
understanding of current sustainability challenges and solutions.
Exposure & Responsibilities:
● Data Collection & Analysis: Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data
related to various sustainability metrics, including environmental performance
(e.g., carbon emissions, water usage, waste generation), social impact (e.g.,
labor practices, community engagement), and governance structures.
● Literature Reviews: Conduct comprehensive literature reviews on emerging
sustainability trends, regulations, best practices, and industry-specific
sustainability challenges.
● Report Generation: Support the creation of research reports, presentations, and
internal memos by summarizing findings, preparing charts and graphs, and
contributing to written content.
● Benchmarking: Assist in benchmarking our organization or specific projects
against industry sustainability standards and best practices.
● Project Support: Provide general administrative and research support to the
sustainability team on various ongoing projects.
● Stakeholder Engagement : Potentially assist in preparing materials for
stakeholder engagement on sustainability initiatives.
● Innovation Scouting : Research new sustainable technologies, methodologies,
and innovative solutions relevant to our industry.
Qualifications:
● Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Environmental Science, Sustainability, Environmental Studies, Public Policy,
Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
● Demonstrated interest in sustainability, ESG, and environmental issues.
● Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
● Strong written and verbal communication skills.
● Attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have):
● Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD).
● Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
● Basic understanding of statistical analysis.
● Experience with survey design or qualitative research methods.
