• Establish and lead an independent, innovative research program in molecular biology, focusing on areas such as gene regulation, protein function, or cellular signaling.
• Secure substantial external funding through competitive grant applications from national and international agencies.
• Supervise and mentor a team of postdoctoral fellows, research associates, and graduate students, fostering a collaborative and productive research environment.
• Design and execute complex experiments, utilizing state-of-the-art molecular biology techniques and technologies.

• Demonstrated success in obtaining and managing significant extramural research grants (e.g., NIH, ERC, national funding bodies).
• Extensive expertise in a broad range of molecular biology techniques, including molecular cloning, gene editing, protein expression and purification, microscopy, and sequencing technologies.
• Proven ability to conceptualize, design, and execute complex research projects independently.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to mentor trainees.
• Experience in managing a research laboratory and its budget.
