• Artwork Proofreading, grammar & punctuation to provide quality output.
• Ensure Content adheres to all compliances (i.e. Mock-up & Permission copy) & guidelines of artworks.
• Take Final Artwork Approval from Client & Plant.
• After Approval from Both the side we verify in hard copy and make it with Red Stamp and send for barcode check.
• Barcode check & verification of artwork we make artwork final approval with green stamp.
• Fill the checklist of final artwork.
• Sent for verification to higher authority.
• Maintain product Artworks/ documents distribution record.
• Give Final Printing Approval received from printer.
• Follow up for mock-up & permission to plant
• Follow up for artwork approval to plant
• Check Draft permission copy
• Make Insert for different countries artwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Highly efficient and have very good technical knowhow of Underbody structures.
• Ensure progression of design maturity from initial concept through to Engineering Sign-Off and design gateways
• Establishing and maintaining the teamwork plan aligned to vehicle program
• Ensure sub-system meets Cost and weight Targets
• Ensure Regulatory compliance of Sub system.
• Define appropriate system-level engineering targets to meet function, quality and attribute requirements of the Vehicle Program
• Develop and maintain the design validation plan (DVP) including both in-house and supplier testing plan and ensure development signoff tests are completed on schedule.
• Troubleshoot and resolve all Validation issues.
• Develop System Design Specifications incorporating engineering standards, test procedures and material specifications.
• Lead Failure Mode Avoidance activities including DFMEA, quality history reviews development tests.
• Ensuring all relevant documentation as per ISO& quality standards.

Knowledge / Experience:

• Proven experience in development and/or integration of at least one and preferably more in BIW Structure, Underbody Front End. Front Floor, Rear Floor assembly Upper body, Sealing,

• Excellent communications skills, demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels
• Liaise with supplier, Manufacturing, CAE& Validation Teams.
• PC Literacy: Microsoft Project, Power Point, Excel, Word etc
• CAD Literacy: Ability to generate CAD data and Master sections in CATIA V5
• Niche Skills like One step simulation, Tolerance stack up calculation, Bolt Calc etc
• Significant experience in use of engineering tools FMEA, Six Sigma, problem resolution etc.
• Successful history of delivery within the automotive sector.

Job Description

Lead belt and belt system PD projects and provide support to other functions & departments as PD team member,formulation slection,component slection, construction development and ownership to improve belt functional and durability performance
Develop belt specifications to define materials and process steps for building prototype belts, define DFMEA and product DVP to meet the project requirement book and develop test plans and procedures, define product requalification plan (product audit plan).Coordinate with controlling for the belt cost calculation
Define the sample mold size and belt profile dimensions & geometry for specific belt sections, length, and pitch; prototype tooling definition and ordering
Requesting new development from R&D central function(product platform development, material platform development) 
Development projects management-Ensure project plans are defined to reach the PD project targets,regularly review status of projects for timeliness and completion of requirements, assess product requests from PDM with feasibility studies
Work with MatPE & PPI to ensure a successful product launch and stable production process.Production trials up to verified and approved design (Gate 50). Support of localization activities (materials-PD and processes-MatPE & PPI), support MatPE PI & PPI through Gate 90 for new constructions
Evaluate returned failed belts from customers and competitor belts to identify opportunities for belt construction improvements; market specific product benchmarking in strong cooporation with market organization
Work with Material Platform / Material Process Engineering to define specifications and test procedures for raw material suppliers (cord, fabric, coating, rubber, thermoplastics, etc.). Assist in the development of new alternative material suppliers and support audit if necessary
Define with Test Department necessary new test methods to check product quality, submit request for prototype belt testing by physical and dynamic labs, evaluate the test results, documentation of test results for discussion with application engineering and/or internal customer
