Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Procurement Manager located in Hyderabad. The Procurement Manager will be responsible for evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing procurement processes, and overseeing contract management. Day-to-day tasks include supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, procurement planning, and ensuring that procurement activities are cost-efficient and meet the company's quality standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Sourcing and Identification of R&D Chemicals, Raw Materials, QC & Columns, Impurities, Specialty Chemicals and Standards etc.,
- Reviewing the Purchase requisition for Consumables from various departments.
- Sourcing and purchasing of R&D Scientific Instruments.
- Follow up with vendors through online for obtaining prices "es (RFQ &RFI)
- Conducting negotiation for prices, other terms and conditions with vendors as per the HOD instructions.
- Creation & execution of Purchase Orders, Domestic and Imports as per the SOP.
- Handled for vendor evaluation, compliance documentation including CoA, MSDS, and regulatory documents
- Collaborating with cross functional teams, such as procurement accounting to resolve any payment related issues and inquiries.
- Preparing and maintaining relevant reports, including vendor statements, aging reports, and payment schedules
- Managing the procurement process from PR to payment, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions
Qualifications
- Experience in Supplier Evaluation and Procurement
- Skills in Contract Negotiation and Contract Management
- Strong Analytical Skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Experience in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry is a plus
Experience Required: 8-12 years in Procurement Experience in Chemical Pharma Industry
Education: Related field (MBA/PGDM is a plus)
Language Proficiency: Strong command and fluency in English (both written and spoken)

Job Descriptions
- Strategic Sourcing:
Develop and implement sourcing strategies for Civil Construction material ( Steel , Cement, Aggregates, RMC , etc.) , equipment’s, and services at the best possible cost & terms and align with the project requirements .
- Supplier Management:
Identify, evaluate, and qualify potential suppliers, building and maintaining strong relationships with key vendors, and coordinate with Client for approval of vendors, to ensure quality and timely deliveries.
- Contract Negotiation:
Lead contract negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions, including pricing, delivery schedules, and service level agreements.
- Cost Management:
Implement strategies to reduce procurement costs, including competitive bidding, price negotiation, and value engineering.
- Procurement Process :
Oversee the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, including requisition processing, obtaining quotations, preparing purchase orders, and expediting deliveries.
- Quality Assurance:
Ensure that all purchased materials meet quality standards and specifications, as per project requirements.
- Compliance:
Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, relevant regulations, and safety standards.
- Collaboration:
Collaborate with engineering, finance and operations teams and other departments, including external client, to ensure seamless execution of procurement activities.
- Reporting:
Prepare and present regular reports on procurement performance, including cost savings, supplier performance, and risk mitigation activities.
- Market Research:

Specific Skills and Experience :

A. RFP Management (Core Responsibility)
- Lead end-to-end RFP processes for European procurement projects, from requirements gathering to award finalization.
- Draft RFP documents, including Scope of Work (SOW), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), evaluation criteria, and pricing templates.
- Manage stakeholder alignment to define specifications and evaluation frameworks.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Legal, Finance, and IT to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.

Education

- Domain Knowledge
