Position Summary

We are looking for dynamic and confident Demo Speakers who can deliver engaging product demonstrations and presentations to prospective customers across various regions. This role is ideal for professionals with strong communication skills and prior experience in B2C sales environments such as EdTech , Insurance, Banking, or Real Estate.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting impactful live/virtual demos, connecting with audiences in their native language, and driving customer interest through persuasive storytelling and clear product understanding.

Role Type : Individual Contributor (IC)

Employment Type : 6 months Probation + Full time



Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Deliver 3–4 engaging product demos per day, each lasting 2–3 hours (online & offline).
  • Possess a strong, confident personality with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Maintain high energy and audience engagement for 2–2.5 hours continuously.
  • Understand the audience and tailor the demo flow as per their needs and language preference.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to prepare demo scripts, presentations, and collaterals.
  • Ensure smooth coordination for scheduled demos — from technical setup to final delivery.
  • Represent the brand in webinars, workshops, events, and live sessions with enthusiasm and clarity.
  • Support the sales funnel by converting demo interest into qualified leads and assisting the closure team.
  • Take ownership from demo attended to final conversion.




Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: 2–5 years in sales leadership, preferably in EdTech / Education / High-ticket B2C sales .
  • Strong communication skills in Hindi & English + regional languages like Tamil or Kannada+Telugu or Marathi or Hindi ).
  • Industry Background: EdTech (preferred), Insurance/Banking Sales, or Real Estate Sales.
  • Team Handling Exposure: At least 1 year; previously managed a team of 3+ members (even though this is an IC role).
  • Highly presentable , with excellent grooming and stage presence.
  • Confident public speaker with the ability to influence diverse audiences.
  • Comfortable using digital tools & virtual presentation platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.).
  • Team player who can collaborate effectively across departments.



Work Location & Working Days

  • Work from ( Delhi / Karnataka / Tamil Nadu /Jaipur / Pune depending on territory).

About the Position


Strand is seeking to add a Sales Role Profiles for Bangalore, Visakhapatnam, Trivandrum, Mumbai, Mangalore, Kochi and Kerala . The roles will report into the Regional Sales Manager. He/she will be responsible for defining and executing the go-to-market plan for the region in order to achieve the assigned sales targets. They will be responsible for establishing MOUs and other strategic deals with healthcare institutions & KOLs. They will operate ethically and be motivated by and give the highest priority to the overall well-being of the patients.



Job Requirements and Required Skills:


  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly targets in the assigned geographical region
  • Determine the market potential for the region, prioritize the portfolio opportunities, and develop and execute the go-to-market plan.
  • Drive optimal operating mechanisms to monitor and track progress of opportunities in the pipeline; and deliver on fulfilment targets.
  • Develop and grow trusted relationship with senior Clinicians and other Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) in core areas
  • Establish MOUs and grow business engagement with key healthcare customers by understanding customer challenges and delivering solutions.
  • Nurture relationship with professional society stakeholders within geographical area.
  • Plan and conduct regional and local marketing events, including roundtables and client-site
  • functions, in collaboration with Marketing team
  • Stay abreast of the latest in Next Generation Sequencing and standard of care in Prenatal and pediatric genetics.
  • Be completely accountable for each sample/case ensuring it progresses within prescribed timelines from order to reporting
  • Act as a primary customer point of contact in the region and ultimately be accountable for issue resolution for the assigned region.
  • 0 to 3+ years of experience in the Molecular Diagnostics Industry
  • Experience in and knowledge of Reproductive and Rare Disease is preferred, but not mandatory
  • Good understanding of the genetic testing landscape
  • An academic degree in Science in general, and biotechnology in particular, would be a plus
  • Willingness to travel 70% of work time
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English language; fluency in local language is preferable

Your duties as a Sales Rep include but are not limited to the following:

-Providing professional solutions to the customers based on technical skills in Sequencing field and achieving the sales target;

-Customer visiting, in-time response to the technical enquiries from the customers, providing professional technical consultation services;

-Providing products, technologies and solutions training to the sales team, cooperating with the sales team to achieve the sales target;

-Monitoring the latest technologies and trends in NGS field. Developing and work closely with KOLs for efficient products promotion;

-Participating marketing activities, hosting technical seminars. Providing products introduction/update/technical seminars regularly to the customers; and

-Collecting and feedback market information, competitors’ information to marketing and R&D department for strategy planning.


The successful candidates for this position are able to demonstrate:

-Bachelor degree or above in Molecular biology, cell biology, immunology, genetics or bioinformatics.

-Be familiar with Massively Parallel Sequencing(MPS), genomics, genetics field and market, be familiar with gene sequencers or application areas.

-3 years or above sales/technical support experience in genetics/genomics related instrument, good sense of services.

-Excellent in communication, coordination, and teamwork, willing to accept challenges, stress tolerant.

-Self-motivated, willing to learn new technologies and skills, be adapted to frequent business trips.

-Fluent in both native language and English.
