**Key Responsibilities**
+ Working knowledge of NPME role. Under guidance of management, develops, implements, and releases new product BOMs for medium complex assemblies and product structure.Works with senior NPME to implement new product manufacturing, test, and sourcing strategies.
+ Develops and validates Operation Method Sheets (OMS) for medium complex assemblies.
+ Partners with Sr NPMEs in 3D solid model virtual analysis process, including Master Layout (MLO) and Digital Mock Up (DMU).Participates in design reviews, providing DFA, DFAe, DFTp, ITO, and operational efficiency improvement feedback to new product development team to drive cost, quality, and cycle time goals.
+ Partners with Sr NPME to log change requests and executes change control processes including Non Standard Requests (NSRs), Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), Change Control Board (CCB), Supplier Problem Sheets (SPSs), Engineering Specification Waivers (ESWs).
+ Documents product-related issues/enhancement opportunities.Assists in determining root cause analysis.
+ Leads the Managed Build process forassemblies/modules.
+ Provides technical support and training to Applied and contract manufacturing resources, including piece part suppliers related to assemblies/modules.
+ May perform other duties as assigned.
**Other Requirements:** This position may require standing for extended periods of time, walking, working in tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, lifting, the ability to distinguish between colors, the ability to work in an environment with noise that may be difficult for some individuals with sensitivity to noise, and the use of hand and power tools.

    •  Supports New Product documentation by OMS Creation for NPI/CIP Builds 
    • Create and maintain Master Layout.  
    • Coordinates with Design SMEs in the development of Tooling Design & Testing fixtures to achieve quality & Productive manufacturing build. 
    • Participate in the New Product Builds & Determines root cause analysis for issues that arise during assembly and/or test of systems; drives Short term & Long-term corrective actions.  
    • Interfaces between operations, design engineering & Global Product management to implement most feasible solution to resolve supplier, Build & Field issues following Corp processes. 
    • Evaluates work methods, procedures, and policies.  Develops and maintains new business processes; edits as necessary to ensure current practices are documented.  Mentors and trains lower level engineers.


     Other Responsibilities: 

    • Applies DFx principles (Design for Manufacturing, Aesthetics, Ergonomics, Producibility, etc.) to reduce product costs and improve delivered product quality. 
    • Participates in the development and maintenance of new business processes ; edits as necessary to ensure current practices are documented

    + Collaborate and work in a team environment with Design, Applications, Test, Marketing, Manufacturing, Quality and Reliability in all aspects of new product development, production release to accomplish goals and objectives
    + Work with process and package technology development to develop and qualify technologies for new product development
    + Work closely with the global manufacturing facilities to address customer specific product quality, yield management and cost reductions issues on mature products. Scope of work could include product spins and derivatives
    + Develop and implement Qualification plans
    + Design sHTOL, dHTOL, ELFR, BHAST, and PTC boards to qualify Analog products.
    + Perform evaluation, debug and characterization of integrated circuits to ensure they meet the product requirement specifications and manufacturing requirements
    + Work with failure analysis (FA) to determine root cause of any reliability and qualification failures
    + Work with planning team to ensure smooth device ramp post release to manufacturing (RTM).
    + Qualify second source wafer fab, assembly / test (A/T) facility, and Bill of Materials (BOM) to ensure device continuity of supply.
    + Perform test conversion, test time reduction, and yield improvements to achieve device entitlement operational transfer cost (OTC).
    + Work with wafer fabrication, assembly & test sites to guarantee schedule, cost and quality
    + Communicate weekly to management on status of each project
