Cadence Design Systems is looking for a highly motivated engineer to be part of the Modus R&D team, with a focus on validating and supporting Design-for-test (DFT) technologies. Candidate must have 2+ years of experience in DFT/ATPG/ASIC Design flows and knowledge of RTL Verilog/VHDL coding styles, Synthesis. This position requires excellent communication skills (written and oral) to interface with Product Engineers (PEs) and R&D and will occasionally also involve direct customer support responsibilities. Will work on complex problems that require innovative thinking, debugging customer reported problems and collaboration with R&D to propose out-of-box solutions with emphasis on robustness, PPA and scalability.
Role Responsibility
Work as a DFT Product Validation Engineer on insertion and validation of DFT technologies such as 1500 Wrapper, Compression, RTL DFT, Low Pin Count Test, Hierarchical Test, LBIST etc. using Cadence Synthesis tool Genus and ATPG using Cadence Test tool Modus on in-house and customer designs.
Create testplans for verification of new features and execute them by creating new test cases requiring application of Design & DFT skills; Report bugs/enhancements in tool.
Collaborate with R&D and Product Engineering teams to review feature specifications, testplans & customer issues.
Debug issues reported by customers and suggest/implement measures to plug the gaps.
Position Requirements
B.E/B.Tech with 2+ years or M.E/MTech in Electronics/Electrical of experience
Strong in Digital electronics, Verilog
Good understanding of DFT techniques and methodologies
Familiarity with Test standards like 1149.1, 1500, 1687 is a plus
Experience with Cadence Test or other Test tools is preferred
Modus is a DFT (Design for Testability) software tool from Cadence used by leading chip design companies during DFT synthesis & ATPG (Automatic Test Pattern Generation) phase of chip design

**Job summary:**
If you are a product testing profession, Emerson has an exciting role for you! We need a Senior engineer Product Validation to partner with our hard-working testing team in ensuring a flawless product experience for our customers. In this role you will work as part of team to test Emerson's software and hardware applications designed for Power plant control system, which are fully assembled and tested in lab environment. You will participate in various performance, functionality and compatibility testing of the software and hardware. You will be responsible for working with managers, leads, testers and developers to understand the product testing requirements.

+ Perform smoke test, first pass test and regression testing along with team and report findings.

+ Ensuring high performance on a variety of platforms.
+ Build test plan, test cases, test scenarios and test cases for different software systems.

+ Minimum 6 years' experience in product testing of DCS and its supported software such as OPC, Data Analytics, Historian, Advance Algorithms, Cybersecurity solutions, Third party protocols
+ Experience with various testing methodologies (functional testing, system testing, compatibility testing, performance testing)
+ Experience in Installation of Windows OS, Drivers, and Microsoft Patches
+ Suggesting and implementing improvements to the testing procedures
+ Experience of field instrument, discrete and continuous Controllers, HMI, and bus technologies
**Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:**
+ BE/BTech Engineering course (Instrumentation, EE, ECE, Power)
+ Basic understanding of networking protocols and concepts
+ Experience ISTQB certificate at Foundation level

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure that our web applications, mobile applications, and CRM systems meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and reliability. You’ll work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to identify issues early, track bugs, and guarantee smooth releases.

Key Responsibility:

• Review business and technical requirements to ensure clarity and testability.
• Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform manual and automated testing for web, mobile, and CRM platforms.
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
• Collaborate with the development team to reproduce, diagnose, and resolve issues.
• Conduct regression, integration, functional, and UAT testing.
• Verify fixes and perform final validation before product deployment.
• Ensure quality standards are met before every release or go-live.
• Contribute to process improvement by identifying testing gaps and suggesting optimizations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in software testing or QA role (manual and/or automation).
• Familiarity with QA tools and bug-tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, TestRail).
• Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and APIs for backend testing.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
