About Demolish Foods
We’re reinventing meat for a planet-positive future. Our Gen4 precision-structuring platform is the first in the world to recreate all perceptible components of meat. It recreates the muscle fibres, connective tissue and fat of whole-cut chicken entirely from plants. Backed by investors with deep manufacturing and food technology expertise, we’ve commissioned our pilot line in Bangalore and are scaling rapidly toward first commercial launches. Every kilogram of Demolish meat saves water, land and carbon while keeping animals out of the equation. If you’re excited to push the boundaries of engineering and scale solutions that matter, join us and help make food systems kinder, healthier and more sustainable.

This is a unique opportunity, especially for fresh grads, to work at the intersection of food science, mechanical systems, and deep-tech innovation, scaling advanced food technologies and potentially charting a career path within our engineering/R&D team.
Responsibilities
- As part of the production team, ensure efficient and safe operation of all equipment.
- Handle end-to-end food processing operations, ensuring adherence to SOPs, product specifications, and full traceability throughout.

- Follow production schedules. Coordinate with upstream/downstream stations to keep flow.
- Sample and perform in-process checks (weights, moisture/solids, temperature, texture) and record results in batch logs.
- Observe, document, and report production behavior, providing structured feedback to the production and R&D teams.
- Support troubleshooting by identifying root causes (materials, method, machine, manpower, measurement) and implement fixes.
- Contribute to R&D - process development and pilot-scale innovation over time.
- Sanitation & hygiene - perform pre-op checks, end-of-shift cleaning, and CIP/COP per SOPs.
- Quality & food safety - follow GMPs/HACCP, prevent cross-contamination and foreign-matter risks; use and store chemicals correctly.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Engineering, or other science degrees.
- Eagerness to learn and break into a career in FoodTech.
- Excellent English communication skills — written and verbal.
- Organized, disciplined, and capable of working effectively within a small team.
- Strong observational skills, with a mindset for continuous improvement.
- Aspirations to grow into a technical, operational, or R&D role over time.
- Physical stamina: The role can sometimes be physically demanding, requiring stamina and dexterity when dealing with food production machines and food products.
Why Join Us
- Be part of a category-defining company reshaping the future of sustainable protein.
- Work alongside some of the brightest minds in FoodTech, Engineering, and R&D.
