The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of lean methodologies, such as Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and Just-In-Time (JIT) systems. You will work collaboratively with production teams, quality control, and management to identify improvement opportunities, develop action plans, and ensure successful implementation. This is a hands-on role requiring strong analytical skills and the ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and facilitate lean initiatives, including Kaizen events, 5S implementation, and Value Stream Mapping (VSM).
  • Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for waste reduction and efficiency gains.
  • Develop and implement standard work procedures and best practices.
  • Train and mentor employees on lean manufacturing principles and tools.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to lean implementation and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address process bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
  • Support the implementation of JIT production systems and inventory management strategies.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts by empowering the workforce and fostering a problem-solving culture.
  • Document lean initiatives, progress, and achieved savings.
  • Ensure the sustainability of lean improvements through regular audits and follow-ups.
  • Contribute to the development of long-term operational excellence strategies.
  • Promote a safe working environment in all implemented processes.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a lean manufacturing or continuous improvement role.
  • Proven experience with lean tools and methodologies (Kaizen, 5S, VSM, JIT).
  • Green Belt or Black Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and training abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and influence stakeholders.
  • Experience in data collection and analysis for process improvement.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing operations and quality systems.
